Built in the early 1800s under the direction of famed Pisan physician Andrea Vaccà Berlinghieri, Tempio di Minerva Medica is a monument dedicated to Minerva Medica, the Italian goddess of medicine and wisdom. Constructed in a classical style from marble and terracotta, this is another lovely Palaian attraction which has the benefit of not being mobbed by tourists.
