Getting home to Australia is getting easier! From 17 April, international travellers will no longer have to take a pre-departure test before boarding their flight to Australia. We know that this will streamline international travel and we look forward to welcoming more Club Wyndham South Pacific owners to overseas destinations!
We would also like to inform you about an important change regarding travel to Fiji: All people travelling to Fiji will now be required to pre-book and pre-pay for a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) via the government’s portal: https://www.entrytestfiji.com/
Travellers will not be able to board a flight to Fiji without providing proof of this pre-paid RAT of FJ$38 on the above-mentioned booking platform.
Club Wyndham Denarau Island has entered into an arrangement with the Fijian Ministry of Health & Medical Services (MHMS) approved medical provider, Budget Pharmacy, to facilitate this testing onsite for the convenience of Club Wyndham South Pacific owners.
We remind travellers:
To enter Fiji, you will be required to undertake two mandatory tests, at a minimum, which must be arranged by you and is at your own expense:
Important information
Please be aware that the Fijian Government is only admitting travellers who are vaccinated. For details on accepted vaccines and medical exemptions, please refer to https://www.mcttt.gov.fj/home/traveltofiji/international-travel/
COVID-19 has changed the shape of travel in Fiji. You can access more government resources here and see how they apply to the resort here. Club Wyndham Denarau Island is an accredited resort under CareFiji.
For more details about Fiji’s testing requirements, please follow this link to the resort’s welcome information on the Club Wyndham South Pacific website.
If a guest or their party returns a positive COVID-19 test result, government agencies will be notified and there is a requirement to self-isolate for seven days. We will endeavour to continue accommodating you at the resort, subject to availability and at your cost (which can be paid with credits or cash if you have no credits available). Our sincere hope is that this circumstance is exceptionally rare; however, as the world begins opening up to vaccinated travellers – who can still catch COVID-19 – we have no way of completely insulating club resorts against all cases of COVID-19. Our teams will do their best to manage the situation should it arise, provide support to all owners and guests, and adhere to government requirements. Please be aware of and consider that these are some of the risks of travelling internationally at this point in time.
Travellers entering Fiji are required to have medical travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage due to the possibility that you contract COVID-19 and are forced to extend your stay.
Please be aware that it is your responsibility to ensure that you meet any conditions for travelling and staying at a club property. You should also be aware that travel restrictions could resume or change at any time and travel is undertaken at your own risk.
We encourage our guests and owners to be prepared in the unfortunate case their stay in Fiji is extended due to COVID or any other travel disruption. This includes bringing any essential medications and supplies for yourself and your family.
We are excited to see that more travel restrictions are relaxing for international travel. Your resort team in Fiji are looking forward to welcoming you with a host of fun family activities planned for April and the Easter School Holidays. To see all that’s on click here.
We will continue to monitor any changes made to entry requirements across all your club destinations. As always, we wish you safe and smooth travels, and wonderful club holidays.
