Japan, 〒401-0320 Yamanashi, Minamitsuru District, Narusawa, 8533
Narusawa Ice Cave is a lava tube created by one of Mount Fuji’s many eruptions, and, along with Fugaku Wind Cave and Lake Sai Bat Cave, is a hugely popular tourist attraction. Prior to electricity, Narusawa was used as a natural refrigerator, due to its year-round freezing temperatures; now, visitors can explore the cave’s labyrinthine passages, and see its beautiful ice formations. It averages about 3°C, so make sure you rug up!
