1184 Crawford Ave 80487 Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Like many rural towns in the USA, Steamboat was actually ‘founded’ by one man – James Harvey Crawford, county judge, postmaster, superintendent and local representative. He was Steamboat’s first permanent settler, and the Crawford House is where he and his family spent most of their lives. One of the only examples of Romanesque Revival architecture in the region, this well-preserved house is definitely worth a visit.
