Kyneton Bushland Resort is unique bushland retreat set across 50 acres of natural Australian landscape in the heart of Victoria’s Macedon Ranges. Just under an hour’s drive from Melbourne, our fully self-contained villas and lakeside apartments offer a perfect blend of comfort, privacy and connection with nature, with native wildlife often seen around the property.
Whether your guests are seeking active fun or peaceful relaxation, the resort delivers something for everyone. On-site experiences include a heated swimming pool with spa and sauna, canoeing and fishing in the lake, 18-hole mini golf and giant games, tennis and squash courts, playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment, plus a lively activities program for all ages. RECEPTION HOURS: Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 9am – 5pm, Friday: 9am – 6pm, and on Sunday: 9am – 4pm.
Water Safety: The pool complex is unmanned, and all guests must always follow posted rules and exercise care. Do not leave children unsupervised or unattended in the pool, spa, sauna, or lake areas. No diving or jumping from the lake edge or bridge. Life jackets must be worn when using watercraft. Report any hazards to Reception. In an emergency call 000 for Police, Fire or Ambulance.
Wildlife & Outdoor Environment: The resort is spread across 50 acres of bushland with wildlife such as kangaroos and wallabies roaming nearby, so guests should be prepared for a rural setting and natural environment.
Bedroom Layouts: 2 Bedroom layout varies; one style includes a main bedroom with an ensuite plus a separate main bathroom, while another style features two ensuite bathrooms (one attached to each bedroom. 3 Bedroom villas have 2 Bathrooms only.
Security Deposit: Security deposit is required in a form of a preauthorization on a credit card, either Visa or MasterCard.
Special Requests: Cots, highchairs and fold out beds are available for a fee. Please contact Owner Services team to add a note to your booking about this. It’s recommended to call the resort a week before your check-in day to reconfirm these requests.
Fishing: Fishing is allowed in the lake. The resort does not supply fishing rods and baits; owners and guests could bring their own.
Internet Connection: WiFi internet is available in all villas and at the reception complex, free of charge. Please expect that isn’t very reliable and is slow because property’s location and the property is relying on wireless NBN.
7-Night Block: All bookings must be made in 7-night blocks, with arrivals on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Multiple reservations can be made by each Owner to build a stay of multiples of 7 nights; however, a housekeeping fee applies to each 7-night booking, and a room move may be required.
Traditional Timeshare Resort: Please note this resort is a traditional timeshare resort. The rooms and facilities are not managed by Club Wyndham South Pacific and may differ in quality to Club-managed properties. Lifestyle benefits do not apply.
