Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, as Developer of Club Wyndham South Pacific, is very excited to announce the merger of the Privileges and Lifestyle by Wyndham programs in addition to a number of enhanced benefits!
Over the past few months, the team has been assessing how both Privileges and Lifestyle by Wyndham – the Developer’s two benefits programs – can provide better customer value, greater flexibility and additional benefits.
There are plenty of details we want to share with you. Please read on to find out more about the following:

Merger of Privileges and Lifestyle by Wyndham
Since 2018, the Developer has administered the two benefit programs: Privileges and Lifestyle by Wyndham. From mid-April, 2021, both programs will be merged into one, which will be known as Lifestyle by Wyndham.
Any Club Wyndham South Pacific owner can become a member of Lifestyle and access its exclusive offers through the Lifestyle website and mobile app. All owners will still be able to freely access these offers, and the five-tier fee paid membership program remains available to qualified members but both will now be available under the one program.
Current Privileges members do not need to do anything – their membership will be renamed to the new Lifestyle tier and they will continue to access their many benefits without any changes to the method of payment of membership fees. See below for the changes to how membership fees will be calculated.
The existing Privileges membership requirements of Club Wyndham South Pacific vacation credits being purchased from or qualified by the Developer continue to apply to Lifestyle Bronze and above tiers.
The renamed tiers, effective mid-April, 2021, are set out below:
The merger will make keeping track of Developer benefits simpler: there will be the one program and members will be able to use one website and mobile app that allows them to better learn about their benefits and utilise them to their full potential.
As this is a change to the Developer benefits program, the entire cost is paid by the Developer.
Membership fees
There will now be a flat membership fee payable for each tier. This means that instead of members paying for each qualified vacation credit, they will now be paying for the tier.

*If you are paying these fees by any currency other than AU$, the fee you pay will depend on the exchange rate applicable at the time of payment.

Benefits table
The below table lists the benefits of Lifestyle’s tiered program and indicates tiers that are able to access each benefit. Full details of the benefits and the terms of use will be set out in the new program guide.
Before the official launch of the new program in mid-April, 2021, the Lifestyle website, mobile app and online collateral will be progressively updated to reflect this.
New benefits
The program features an exciting range of new benefits. These include:
RCI Hotel Exchange – enabling Lifestyle Bronze members and above to exchange their qualified vacation credits through RCI towards a discount on stays at approximately 600,000 hotels.
Selection Benefit – Lifestyle Silver members and above will be able to choose a special benefit every calendar year from a curated list. The 2021 list will be circulated from Lifestyle by Wyndham in the coming days and you will have the opportunity to select your benefit.

*The commencement of the Wyndham Rewards® Redemptions – Levies, Housekeeping, Travel & Resort Vouchers and Elevated Wyndham Rewards® Status benefits may be delayed beyond the launch date but this will be confirmed at the time of launch.
Changes to Benefits
As well as providing new benefits, we will be making adjustments to some existing benefits, while others have been replaced or completely removed. It should be noted that these changes apply only to the Privileges and Lifestyle benefits which are Developer programs. There is no change to your Club Wyndham South Pacific ownership and club benefits.
Platinum Pamper Pack (Lifestyle 100 Club members) – this has been refreshed for 100 Club members and is named Welcome Wine, Robes and Slippers. We have created the Selection Benefit that will allow Lifestyle Silver members and above to choose a benefit matching their personal tastes. Lifestyle Platinum and 100 Club members will receive access to an elevated value of benefit.
Travel Exchange (Lifestyle Gold members and above) – this benefit is a fresh identity for Personal Choice and will require both cash and credits to be used in tandem, rather than purely credit transactions. We will provide more details in mid-April.
The following benefits have been removed:
In a post-COVID-19 world, we believe that the Airport Lounge Membership no longer represents the value it had done previously and that it is potentially more financially beneficial to the Lifestyle member to offer a lower annual fee and allow you to source the same product or a product you would like in its place. As the Associate Resort program is currently suspended, Reserve Guarantee has also been removed from the benefits list.
The changes to Urban Escapes and Travel Exchange (formerly Personal Choice) are to ensure the Lifestyle tiered program can achieve a financial balance. Similar to Wyndham Rewards, these benefits are exchanges where the Developer purchases products or services at its own cost and provides them to Lifestyle tier members, receiving Lifestyle Qualified Credits in return.
The Developer recovers its costs from the rental or use of the credits it receives from the exchange. Its objective is to achieve a financial balance and not operate the program at a loss. Previously, the Developer was unable to achieve this. The adjustment to the Wyndham Rewards exchange and the cash requirement for Travel Exchange are forecast to bring the program back into equilibrium.
Urban Escapes allowed 100 Club members to book in Australian and New Zealand capital cities where there were no Club Wyndham South Pacific resorts. This can still be achieved through Travel Exchange.

Going forward
We are currently integrating the existing Lifestyle tiers into the existing Lifestyle website and Lifestyle mobile app, which we are confident will provide a better user experience for existing Privileges members. Both will be ready for use on the date of the refreshed program’s launch in mid-April. We will provide you with more detail about access closer to the launch date.

Privileges and Lifestyle by Wyndham are benefits programs provided by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific Pty Ltd as Developer of Club Wyndham South Pacific. They are separate from Club Wyndham South Pacific ownership and Club benefits. Club Wyndham South Pacific is a registered managed investment scheme which is operated independently and separate from the Developer.
Developer benefits, including the Privileges and Lifestyle by Wyndham programs, are subject to change at any time.
