When Trevor and I look back at our fifty years together, we don’t just see a timeline;we see a world map dotted with unforgettable adventures, all made possible by our Club Wyndham membership. It’s been our passport to experiences we once only dreamed of.
Our journey began close to home, exploring the vast beauty of Australia. We’ve stayed in every capital city, and ventured to North Queensland’s Airlie Beach and Port Douglas. Memorable road trips through New South Wales and Victoria, using Club rooms, provided welcome havens. The rhythm of The Ghan from Darwin to Adelaide was unforgettable, as were our explorations of Tasmania and Western Australia.

Our membership truly unfurled the world. New Zealand captivated us, then came America. The West Coast unveiled itself in a grand adventure: amazing accommodations, the magic of Disneyland, and an unforgettable drive through the Redwoods. Using Club rooms and Wyndham Rewards, we navigated the USA and Canada. Cruising Alaska with a two-for-one deal was breathtaking.

Our European escapades were equally remarkable. With RCI, Club rooms, and Wyndham Rewards, we explored the UK and Ireland. Europe then unfolded with a spectacular two-for-one River Cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest. Wyndham Rewards proved invaluable for our pre and post-cruise stays.

As Club Wyndham members for 25 years, we eagerly anticipate our next grand adventure: a seven-week journey through Europe and Turkey. We’ll immerse ourselves in Munich, Prague, and Berlin, before venturing to Bavaria and Innsbruck. From there, we’ll explore Verona, Padua, and Trieste, thanks to Wyndham Rewards and RCI. A two for one Mediterranean cruise culminates in Turkey, where our Travel Club has arranged excursions to Cappadocia and the poignant battlefields of Lone Pine and Gallipoli.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of Club Wyndham. Our accounts manager has been a godsend, and the Travel Club invaluable for airfares, hotel bookings, and land excursions. Their expertise takes the stress out of planning, allowing us to simply enjoy.

Of all our incredible travels, one memory shines brightest: our 50th wedding anniversary last October. We celebrated by taking our five grown children, their partners, and grandchildren to Denarau, Fiji. The resort staff made us feel incredibly special, and our beautiful anniversary dinner at the Beach Shack Restaurant was a perfect culmination of fifty years of love, surrounded by our family. “When we first joined in 2003, we purchased the minimum number of credits and were sceptical about how beneficial this Holiday Club, then known as TrendWest could be. From our first night at Port Stephens, we recognised the quality of the apartments and little by little, we explored the different locations, always going to presentations in order to understand the benefits more and little by little adding more credits. We have had the best family holidays, taking children and grandchildren to Kirra Beach, Port Douglas, Dunsborough, Philip Island and Fiji. We decided this was better than owning a holiday home as we get to go to so many different destinations and while we pay for property maintenance in our annual levies, we don’t actually have to do any maintenance or cleaning. We are now planning to head to the snow at Dinner Plain next winter. “Being a club owner has given us years of amazing memories! My husband and I became owners in 2007 and joined both my sisters and their partners as members.
Our favorite destination is Denarau, Fiji. Always a spectacular time. We have just returned from our 6th visit. The first time, back in 2009 was our first trip out of Australia as a family of 4- husband Paul with our young children Ruby and Christian. We joined my sister and partner and our parents.

Over the years we returned to celebrate milestones – my 40th in 2013, our 20th wedding anniversary in 2016, Valentine’s Day in 2023 and again last week to celebrate my sister Teresa Gutierrez’ 60th Birthday.

It has always felt like home, the staff go out of their way to ensure we always feel welcome.
While Denarau is our favorite destination we have loved them all!
In 2007 my entire family, 22 of us, stayed at Golden Beach. The memories created together with the help of Club Wyndham has given us a lifetime of joyful memories to hold close to our heart.

Seven Mile Beach last year was a totally different experience- Tasmania is beautiful and we experienced snow atop of Mount Wellington. Yet the warmth and attentiveness of the team was on par to the team at Denarau. We loved the owners garden and the wandering animals at Seven Mile Beach.

Now that our daughter, Ruby, is 23 she has used our points to explore Japan and is currently looking at vacancies for July. Wherever we have stayed, or will stay, we know that we will be greeted with a warm smile gracious conversation and be catered to our every need.

Working in retail, given the opportunity, I wouldn’t hesitate to employ any or all of your team members, Australia and worldwide whom we have had the pleasure of interacting with over the years.

Now that my parents are older and can no longer travel, and our children have grown and are no longer available to travel with us, the memories made in so many beautiful places, made even better by the friendliest teams and the clean, comfortable accommodations have become much more important. “We signed up with Trend West when I was a full time maturae age student in 1997, with just enough points for a one week stay at Kirra Beach in a 3 bed unit with our four sons. As the club had changed and grown so has our family and the diversity of our holiday adventures including trips overseas and cruising the Pacific, Panama Canal and Inside Passage with a week on the Rocky Mountaineer. We’ve seen the value of increasing our membership in gradual steps making it to 100 Club about two years ago in time for our retirement. “I have been a Wyndham member since 2001, when the company was formally owned and named “Trendwest”. Back then, Wyndham had a few resorts in Australia, Fiji and associated with America. There was no RCI, Travel Club, Wyndham Rewards or Lifestyle Privileges.

Over the last 24years as a Wyndham member, I have seen the club grow immensely and given my family and friends many holidays together. I have stayed in many of our Australian Wyndham resorts (Surfers Paradise and Golden Beach are my favourites) and overseas to Thailand, Malaysia with RCI and I’m currently planning a big trip to Europe in 2027 for my 50th Birthday.

I have a few stories from my Wyndham stays including my family and friends staying at Wyndham Kirra for my marriage but one of my favourites was my trip to Thailand. My partner and I stayed at Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket, as a celebration for finishing my Paramedicine degree in November 2019. We absolutely loved the resort, meet lots of new people including other members and had a fabulous holiday. We are both looking forward to going back to Thailand in the near future.

Currently, I am on the Privileges Elite Program and a Lifestyle Silver member. My ultimate goal is to become a 100 Club Member for my retirement and travel around the world with my family and friends, whilst staying in every Wyndham Resort.”

“I have used Club Wyndham credits for holidays in the USA & Canada on 6 occasions. These trips covered Vancouver, Whistler, Banff (Canmore) & the Rockies, which have the most amazing scenery and mountain vistas. On one occasion I took a 7night Alaskan Cruise (as part of my Wyndham ownership).

In the US, I was able to tick off bucket-list places such as Yellowstone NP, New York City (and everything that great City has to offer), San Francisco, Yosemite NP, LA, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe (& old Virginia City), Bison Ranch, Red River, Grand Canyon, Arches NP, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP and Canyonlands.

These were done as driving trips, as driving in the US is so easy with a great road system and plenty of signage. The Sat-Nav also helped !

The National Park system in the US (and Canada) is so well established and accessible.

It was so easy to book Resorts in the areas so that I was able to take in all the attractions and link up with the next Resort area to continue.”

We have met so many wonderful people over the years, and have had so much laughter and experiences that we never would have had if it wasn’t for our holiday package. There were times when we felt resentment and disappointment, however, overall, we feel that joining the club was one of the best decisions that we ever made, and if I went back in time, I would do it all the same. Every year since joining, not only have we continued to go on holidays for both short getaways and long escapes, but we have also been able to spoil our kids. When I was a child, I only remember going on 2 holidays in 18 years. My children on the other hand are constantly on holidays, with at least 2 trips every year. I’ve been able to give my kids a lifetime of memories. We have travelled all over Australia and have stayed at almost every resort in our beautiful country. Not to mention a motorhome trip, several cruises and overseas trips. We can do this, because of the points system. There is no way that we would have ever travelled this much without being owners of Club Wyndham, and to that, I thank Club Wyndham for giving us this opportunity. If I had saved money and put it aside for holidays, there is a strong likelihood that all of these savings would have gone towards bills, and like my childhood, the desire to travel would have been dissolved into just a dream. On stressful weeks, we are able to book in staycations, so instead of returning home after work, and school, we simple drive a little further and stay at a nearby resort. The kids love it, and I get to unwind. And as the resorts always have activities, games and movies, it truly adds to a great bonding with the kids. Christmas Eve was a bison steak at a local fine dining restaurant, and on Christmas Day, we hit the slopes and skied through soft powder beneath crisp blue skies, an experience we’ll never forget. That morning, wrapped in scarves and laughter, sipping hot cocoa before strapping on our skis, we realised how lucky we were to have a “home away from home” in such a special place. We are planning on going to Park City Utah next year if possible.

Our Club membership has also simplified the logistics of planning a getaway. It gives us the freedom to dream bigger and explore more.

“I’ve been an Owner since 2016, and this year I visited my 30th venue and also became 100 Club! My work only allows for a certain number of weeks to holiday, and with time so precious, it’s been exciting to plan destinations to look forward to. My first trip was through RCI to Anaheim for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure (what better way to start my Club Wyndham journey than the Happiest Place on Earth!). I’ve used both Travel Flex and Travel Exchange for a Disney cruise from Melbourne to Auckland, a relaxing weekend at Mornington Peninsula’s Jackalope, and car hire with flights for Port Macquarie. I accessed Wyndham Rewards for the first time recently for my first trip to New Zealand, and have booked for Singapore next year. With Lifestyle by Wyndham I’ve enjoyed receiving the annual selection benefits, and regularly saving on my supermarket shopping. The Facebook group moderators and Owner Services have been fantastic, having a community of like-minded travellers sharing positive experiences has been inspiring and planning for trips less stressful – Thank You to the team! Owners’ drinks have been a great way to learn and share travel tips with others too over snacks and bevvies. I’ve been to 22 Club Properties (many more than once, each with its charms making it hard to pick favourites), and as a foodie, I have eaten my way through more destinations and delicious meals than I thought possible. Of the resort activities, I’ve enjoyed the hobby farm and billy tea at Seven Mile Beach, tobogganing and cocktail class at Dinner Plain, pandanus weaving and SUPing on Denerau Island. I look forward to seeing what 100 Club brings to my ownership and exploring the other bucket list properties in the future – a lifetime of adventure awaits!”

“Being an owner has enabled my husband and I to have fantastic holidays after working hard and raising our 4 beautiful children in our 48 years of marriage. Holidays were a weekend away with the family once a year. Now we have enjoyed Disneyland USA, concerts in Australia, Wanaka and Rotorua and just recently a family holiday with Wyndham Denerau in Fiji where we could take our family and grandchildren. “Rumour is that “Wyndham”in a now lost language means ‘special time shared for fun and memory making’. True? It certainly has been for us. For the last twenty years we have had great holidays with family, friends and other owners we just met that day at owners drinks! After our long (sometimes just up the road) drive, we are confident our apartment will be ready, clean and fully equipped, our ‘home away from home’, in a great location with ever-obliging staff. All our ‘Wyndham times’ have been great but our most memorable has to be Shoal Bay during the dark days of 2021. We had a booking but it was Lockdown again. 5 km radius. We had just bought a small boat and hadn’t yet launched it.. With just an hour before lockdown was to start we arrived at Ramada Shoal Bay.

‘Welcome, said Julie, I’m afraid, apart from the Adelaide newly weds stranded here, you are the only guests!’ What a shame! Not! We had the best stay! Mark, the manager knew all the best boat launching places, Julie had a stock of books, games and jig saws to entertain us. It was a great 10 days, but still not forgiven by our friends and family who were locked down at home!”

We had two girls starting high school and things were tough. However we were able to invest in the minimum credits and increase our credits in small increments whenever we were offered the interest free option. Slowly and steadily we worked our way up the ladder. Today we are proud 100 Club Owners nearing retirement. We look forward to enjoying our future holidays. Fiji holds a special place in our hearts and we take our 3 children back to Fiji every January for our annual Fijian holiday. The hospitality and warm of the Fijian people keeps taking us back to our second home!

“It started when i went to a presentation at Lutwyche for trend west and got 4 nites in Fiji at a resort so i rang and booked the stay as well as flights.The first hotel wasnt much good and it had a box aircon it wasnt trend west .After that we went to denaru island and the size of room and quality and friendly atmosphere really impreed me along with the size of the pool and the pool bar as well as the local area for sight seeing and i was totally amazed at how good it was.I had the greatest time ever in a really good resort so i made it my mission in life to join up when i went back home.Since then we have been to many other resorts and dispite the club changing its name a couple more times we kept going to many more resorts and even found one an hours drive from where we live along with tasmania and then to overseas destinations so now we are spoiled for choice and have upgraded our membership even travelling to the united states a few times i could not stay in those small dingy hotels again i need a resort perhaps im spoilt but i coudnt travel any other way now its the new normal”

“My journey began in Fiji on 1 December 2001.

I needed a halfway house between Canberra and Gympie Queensland.

So 6000 credits.

I will tell you now, that there is absolutely no way I would have had the following experiences without my Ownership.

No Way.

2004 – through the travel Club I exchanged 18,000 credits for 2 weeks in the Lakes District UK staying at Whitbarrow Lodge near Penrith. I added a 7 night cruise in the Aegean Sea plus a 7 night Ancient Greece Tour.

And never looked back.

2006 – I did the Bellissimo Tour (Italy and the Greek Island Hopper).

2009 – Land of the Inca plus Igwazu Falls.

2010 – Egypt with Pre tour ton Mt Sinai and Post Tour to Jordan.

2011 – East coast of Canada and New England in the Fall. Here I met my first Wyndham Travel companion, Fay Worrell.

2013 – The Canadian Rockies (British Columbia) and the inside Passage Alaska with pre tour Week in San Francisco at 590 Bush St (Wyndham US)

2014 – China and 3 Gorge Dam. Only tour to include the Panda Breeding Enclosure.

2015 February – the Antarctica Tour adding Amazon and Galapagos Islands at the end of tour.

2015 October – the Luxury Tour of South Africa. 3 Game parks plus the vineyards of Franschoeck, traveling along the southern coast of South Africa to Knassna, finishing back in Capetown. Boy what a tour that was. (10 ⭐ ✨).

2016 – Vietnam and Cambodia.

2016 December – European White Christmas. (My first) Again awesome trip.

2017 – Colours of Rajasthan India’s Golden Triangle

2017 – Scandinavia and it’s Fjords, included the Hurtegruten Coast run from Bergen to Kirkenes including Nordkapp the most northern point in Europe.

Added to this was an Osli, and Helsinki stop over plus 4 days in St Petersburg.

Then we added the Princess Cruise of the Baltic. Probably overkill, as it went to the Scandinavian ports again but it added places I wanted to see, eg Tallin, Estonia and northern Germany.

Altogether another awesome experience, and which complimented a previous Scandinavian tour I had done in 2010 honouring the Vikings.

2018 August – Kimberly Complete Club Tour.

On this occasion I added a pre-tour stop in Alice Springs for a 4 Day Uluru tour

And a post tour trip up to the Horizontal Falls with a few days in Broome pre and post tour. Plus a stop in Darwin for another 4 Day tour in Kakadu National Park. Then a further stop in Cairns and up to Port Douglas for a week.

2018 December – European White Christmas Again. I loved this tour. And would do it again.

I had 9 days to kill before the Northern lights tour, so I added Imperial Europe with Trafalgar. This took me to parts of eastern Europe I hadn’t seen such as Budapest.

I had a 3 day stop over in Munich which was a bit of a lost cause, as it snowed heaps.

2019 – January. Northern Lights tour covering Iceland. Here I met my next Wyndham travel companion. Catherina Bartley.

After Iceland we flew to Norway to spend time in the Snow Hotel. Amazing. We slept in the Snow Hotel, and a Gami Cabin.

Then we travelled to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort (the Santa Claus Resort).

There we slept in the Igloo and a lig cabin.

Another awesome experience.

We did dog sledding, reindeer sledding, we ride the sked mobiles , slept in a Sammi tepee. Some went trekking on snow shoes.

Just amazing.

2019 May. – the European Summer Tour from Amsterdam to Rome.

I added a pre-tour to the Slavard Group staying in Longyearbyen then boarding another Hurtegruten ship to travel the Spitsbergen islands.

Then I flew to Copenhagen ad stayed 3 days before joining the Tour.

2019 November – South Island New Zealand. The 4th time I had been around this island. But always beautiful.

I was booked on the Moscow to Budapest Tour due in June 2020 then rescheduled to 2021.

A no-go due to Covid.

After Covid I have done lots of Australian island through either OVC or the Travel club.

2022 – Kangaroo Island plus the Murray Princess.

Seven Mile Beach plus and APT tour.

Fraser Island

Hamilton Island out of Airlie Beach resort.

2023 – King Island

2024 August – the Jewels of Fiji 100 Club tour

2024 November – Rottnest Island.

Planned (if WWIII doesn’t break out)

2025 October – Japan 100 Club Tour.???

And 2026 Spain and Portugal 100 Club Tour ???

What can I say??????

Again…

There is absolutely no way I would ever done even a few of these trips with out my Wyndham Ownership.

And just for good measure, until the recent additions, I had been to all our SP resorts in Australia except Trinity Links and Port Stevens.

Last year 2024, when selling up to move north, Wyndham Resorts, Hotels and the Fijian Club tour gave me sanctuary. I would have been homeless for 4 months without my Ownership.

“We attended the Parramatta branch of Trendwest in December 2000 to hear about this program and because we are a holiday lovers we signed up right there and there, signing for only the basic 6,000 credits and over the years add and add more credits until we now own credits that is enough to use every year.

We have used it overseas, French Riviera, Hungary, LA, NY, Orlando, LV many times, Fiji in many times, Hawaii-twice, Japan and the latest in Vancouver. We have been using it also in Manly, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Cairns, Coffs Harbour Pokolbin and our favourite out of town resort is Shoal Bay.

The staff are very charming, welcoming and helpful, especially with regards to catering breakfast, dinner and requesting taxis. Food is good and well-served. The room is spacious and cosy. “I have used Club Wyndham credits for holidays in the USA & Canada on 6 occasions. These trips covered Vancouver, Whistler, Banff (Canmore) & the Rockies, which have the most amazing scenery and mountain vistas. On one occasion I took a 7night Alaskan Cruise (as part of my Wyndham ownership).

In the US, I was able to tick off bucket-list places such as Yellowstone NP, New York City (and everything that great City has to offer), San Francisco, Yosemite NP, LA, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe (& old Virginia City), Bison Ranch, Red River, Grand Canyon, Arches NP, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP and Canyonlands.

These were done as driving trips, as driving in the US is so easy with a great road system and plenty of signage. The Sat-Nav also helped !

The National Park system in the US (and Canada) is so well established and accessible.

It was so easy to book Resorts in the areas so that I was able to take in all the attractions and link up with the next Resort area to continue.”

The good thing about being a club member is that you get alot of help from key arrangement to late extension (subject to availability) to room requests almost immediate. There are things that was left out for our booking but due to the help and support by Nina, my family members had a pleasant stay in Phuket (my parents-in-law, my sister-in-law and her husband as well as my husband and toddler). Phuket has alot to offer from shows, to carnival games to animals and good night market, Sunday walking tour and good food, beaches etc. We are glad to visit. Next month we celebrate our 23 Years with Club Wyndham, having travelled to France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Singapore, New Zealand and of course our favourite Fiji, but also all around Australia. The resort was giving everything we really need, spacious room with all necessary amenities, hot public Onsen, on-site meal. The location was also good especially if you drive your own vehicle you can visit town and get around famous place like Mt. Omuro and blossum park easily. Service level provided by staff was great with service-mind touch. We intend to revisit again some time.

“The other day, I took my family and our dog to Club Wyndham Sundance Resort Onjuku.
The ocean was right in front of us.
We were blessed with good weather, and the view from our room was amazing. Our dog was happily running around on the beach.
We went for a walk to the Moon Desert, and the kids took off their shoes and enjoyed the sandy beach. In the evening, we rented a DVD, watched a movie, and also rented Jenga to enjoy a relaxing time together in our room.
The only downside was that we realized too late that yukata robes were available for free rental. Next time, I’d like to wear a yukata and take a stroll along the beach in the evening.

The origami on the table in the room provided a soothing respite for my tired body after driving.

This is a pet-friendly and driver-friendly inn.
Both the pet’s sandy paws and the children’s feet were easily cleaned off with the outdoor shower.”

Our favorite resort so far has to be Vivara Bali, the setting is absolutely breathtaking, and everything from the rooms to the amenities was top-notch. I particularly loved the private pool and my kids enjoyed it. So memorable.

What really makes the experience stand out, though, is your staff and excellent service. Every interaction we’ve had have been warm, professional, and attentive. They go out of their way to make each stay feel personalized and special, which is rare to find these days.

One of the most cherished moments we’ve experienced was celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our entire family—15 of us in total—at the beautiful Ramada Resort by Club Wyndham Shoal Bay. It was the perfect venue for such a milestone, with the resort’s flexible room options allowing us to book a combination of spacious apartments, including the luxurious presidential suite. This meant our children and grandchildren could come and go across the weekend, making the celebration as relaxed and inclusive as possible.

“For my birthday this year, I decided to escape the city and treat myself to a snowy adventure. I packed my bags and headed to the breathtaking alpine village of Dinner Plain, Victoria—and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken.

I stayed at Club Wyndham Dinner Plain, a luxury, well-designed resort nestled right in the heart of the village. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed. The resort had everything I needed—friendly staff, high-end, comfortable rooms, and the perfect rustic charm you’d expect from a high-country escape. Best of all, it was only a short bus trip from Mt Hotham, making it a fantastic base for all the snow activities I had planned.

And what a snow season it’s been! We were lucky to catch a fresh dump of powder just before arriving. The slopes were in amazing condition, and I wasted no time getting out there. Skiing each day was exhilarating—carving down groomed runs, breathing in crisp alpine air, and soaking in the stunning mountain views. Whether I was skiing solo or joining others on the lifts, I felt totally alive.

Back at the resort, it was all about hot spa, warm meals, and relaxing in comfort. The village atmosphere made everything feel personal and peaceful, a perfect contrast to the adrenaline of the slopes. Evenings were spent enjoying good food, good wine, and the crackling of fireplaces around the area.

What made the trip truly special, though, was that I got to spend it doing what I love, on my birthday, in a place that felt both exciting and restorative. Club Wyndham Dinner Plain made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable—from accommodation to location, it was spot on.

We have invited our family on numerous opportunities to share with us our Wyndham South Pacific resorts. This has been from taking my mum to Tasmania and staying at Seven Mile Beach for a week;to taking my husband’s whole family to Fiji and experiencing the magnificent facilities and location. We invited family members to Airlie Beach to soak up the sunshine. Not to mention each year when we take our friends on our annual wine tour- we have been to the Margaret River and stayed at Dunsborough, we have stayed in the presidential suite at Seven Mile Beach. A trip to Sydney for my birthday on New Year’s Eve, was made more memorable when my husband surprised me by inviting my best friend to stay with us, what a night on the Sydney harbour!

They have also enjoyed the marvellous locations the resorts are situated in. They have been close to activities and facilities that we have all enjoyed together. “Our stay at Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach was more than a babymoon — it became a treasured chapter in our family’s story. With our second child on the way, we cherished this special time together. Our daughter delighted in the simple joys of the resort’s hobby farm, and with proud smiles, we watched her learn to ride a bike — her tiny feet pedalling into independence.

But the moment that took our breath away came one evening as we wandered from the resort to the beach. The sky above us shimmered with waves of colour — the Aurora Australis, dancing silently in the night. We stood together in awe, the cool sand beneath our feet, wrapped in wonder. Our daughter called it the “rainbow in the sky,” collecting seashells under its glow as we captured photos and imprinted the memory deep in our hearts.

To this day, she fondly refers to the trip to her “Tasmania holiday house,” and often talks about the rainbow sky she saw. For us, it was a moment of magic — of nature, family, and new beginnings — that we’ll never forget.”

“On a recent visit to Club Wyndham Fiji with friends, we decided to go on a cruise to the islands which included bus pick up & return. Unfortunately, my wife had a fall entering the bus and suffered a fractured ankle together with a sore knee. We were unable to go on the cruise & went immediately to the Zens Medical Centre that is nearby. Ultimately, we were sent to the Zens Medical in Nadi where a CT Scan and finally a moonboot was puchased. We were pleasantly surprised that the Fijian medical system performed well and we were able to return to our Club Wyndham Resort to continue our holiday. Whilst we were hampered from doing any outdoor activities we were still able to enjoy the restaurants of the resort by way of the Club Wyndham wheelchair. This was supplied to with an ever smiling Fijian employee who made the journey each night as much fun as possible. So for 7 nights in a row we were able to take advantage of this service which certainly assisted us in our time of need. So thank you to staff of Wyndham Denarau for your excellent happy service in assisting Owners through an awkward time. Much appreciated!”

“While only a bronze member with 6000 annual credits, I saved and borrowed my credits so I could take my partner with my two sons to Margaret River in West Australia for my third son’s wedding. With the credits available, I could book three x separate rooms for three x nights at Dunsborough for my sons and myself to have a special family catch-up.

With myself and my youngest son living in NSW, my eldest son now living in the UK, and my son getting married to a West Australian family, this was a precious chance for us all to catch up for the wedding. It was in fact the first chance the three boys and my partner and I had been able to see each other together in nearly four years.

I’ve been a member since 2018 and this was my second stay at the Wyndham Dunsborough and it’s definitely one of my favourites. The on-site amenities, pool, BBQ area and restaurant are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, and the resort’s proximity to the Margaret River winery region, the sights of Busselton and the west coast beaches makes it an ideal holiday destination.

With my now-wedded son moving to West Australia permanently in December later this year, the Dunsborough resort is likely to be an annual (and welcome!) destination for my partner and myself”

“Wyndham resorts offers stress-free holiday accommodation. In all the places we have stayed, it has been comfortable and well maintained with friendly, helpful staff. Our recent stay at Flynn’s beach NSW (July 2025) is a case in point, We took our 12 year-old Grand-daughter (being winter school holidays). She participated in activities with other children without us having to organize these. The children’s program was was supervised and catered for primary school children. The children’s program offered a variety of structured activities on different days. The heated pool and spa provided opportunities for lots of water based fun (under adult supervision). Wednesday happy hour at Henry’s restaurant was enjoyable for us adults as we could meet other resort visitors in comfort while watching pool activities as large windows conveniently overlooked the pool.
Flynn’s beach provides a convenient year-round central location close to the local attractions. These include the koala park and board walk;rugged, scenic coastal walks;sheltered beaches and seasonal whale watching from near the local lighthouse. Port Macquarie’s historical self-guided tour (with audio), museum, port and town centre provided insights into the past re the development of regional pastoral, timber and fishing industries from harsh convict beginnings. Nearby towns and villages like Wauchope provide venues for family oriented daytrips and stops for meals and activities.
One distinct feature was the willingness for FB resort staff to facilitate respite care for family members/ carers with dependents with special needs. Convenient wheel chair accessibility of resort facilities makes this a welcome low-stress option.

” I enjoyed staying at Flynn’s beach because the staff were very nice and friendly. The amenities were fabulous. I adored the pool. The Games room was very cozy. I loved the wild-life the most, and the creek near the outdoor activities space. All the signs about the koalas were very fascinating.
