Day 1 | Welcome to Palermo
Start your Sicilian journey in Palermo, whose rich trading history has left its unforgettable mark on the city’s Italian, Arab and Norman-styled piazzas, street markets and churches. Enjoy some free time to relax before joining your Travel Director and fellow travellers for dinner to kick-start your Sicilian adventure. Meals: Dinner Hotel: Garibaldi
Day 2 | Explore the Capital of Sicily
Head to Monreale on the slopes of Monte Caputo where a Local Specialist will guide you through one of the greatest examples of Norman architecture, the 12-century Cattedrale di Monreale. This evening, why not join an Optional Experience to the beautiful fishing village of Sferracavallo, at the foot of Mount Capo Gallo? Here, you’ll feast on Palermitano specialities, perfectly paired with delicious Sicilian wine. Meals: Breakfast Hotel: Garibaldi
OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES: Sferracavallo with Dinner – Join us for a drive to the coast of Sicily, where you’ll arrive at the quaint fishing village of Sferracavallo. You’ll have the chance to sample a delicious feast of local Palermo specialities, accompanied by wine and soft drinks. Adult: 75.00 EUR
A Visit to Cefalù – Take a drive along the blue coastal highway to the quaint medieval village of Cefalù. You’ll have the chance to stroll from the long golden beaches into the winding Arab streets with your Local Specialist. Adult: 44.00 EUR
Day 3 | Journey to Ancient Marsala
Discover hidden Palermo as you join a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience, where you’ll learn about the civil anti-mafia movement. Leaving Palermo behind, head to Erice to explore the hilltop ‘Town of a Hundred Churches’ and enjoy free time for lunch. Next, stop at the Infersa Mill salt pans and learn about the ancient ‘culture of salt’, an industry that has shaped this region for centuries. Later, arrive in Marsala, home to the wine which shares its name. During your evening at leisure, explore picture perfect Marsala or opt to join the Optional Experience at a Marsala winery followed by a dinner of regional dishes. Meals: Breakfast Hotel: Seawater
OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES: Flavours of Marsala – No visit to Marsala would be complete without a tasting of the famous wine named after the town. Visit a restored 19th-century baglio, where vines are perfectly suited to produce grapes for the wine in this corner of Sicily. We will learn about the winemaking process and taste a selection of their renowned wines, accompanied by a selection of local specialty dishes. A true sensory delight! Adult: 80.00 EUR
Day 4 | Onwards to Agrigento and Ragusa
Today’s first stop is Agrigento, where you’ll join a Local Specialist for a visit to the UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples. Explore one of the world’s most treasured centres of Greek art and architecture, including the seven sandstone Doric temples overlooking the city. There’s time for lunch before you head to Ragusa, a city with two very different souls – the lower and older Ragusa Ibla and higher Ragusa Superiore are separated dramatically by a deep ravine, the Valle dei Ponti. Day 5 | Explore Beautiful Baroque Modica
This morning, explore the UNESCO World Heritage town of Modica with a visit to a local chocolate workshop to uncover the secrets of its traditional recipe. Later, in Ragusa, your Local Specialist reveals how a 17th-century earthquake reshaped this UNESCO-listed city—leading to the rise of elegant Ragusa Superiore above, while resilient locals rebuilt Ragusa Ibla below. This evening is at leisure, or you may choose to join an Optional Experience to a local farm restaurant. Meals: Breakfast Hotel: Poggio del Sole

Day 6 | Off to Historic Syracuse
Once a major Mediterranean power and the birthplace of Archimedes, the historic city of Syracuse takes centre stage this morning. Join your Local Specialist for an in depth look into its vibrant past and discover some of its remarkable treasures at the Archaeological Museum. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may choose to take a boat ride to the island of Ortigia, the ancient heart of Syracuse, linked to the mainland by a stone bridge or simply spend the afternoon strolling through the city’s atmospheric streets at your own pace. Day 7 | Venture Past Mount Etna to Taormina
Continue up the coast to Catania, the city that lies in Mount Etna’s shadow. You’ll have some free time to explore on your own and perhaps sample arancini, a favourite Catania snack. Later join a Local Specialist to delve into the history and culture of the ancient town of Taormina. A particular highlight of this afternoon will be a visit to the beautifully preserved ruins of the Teatro di Taormina. Imagine masked actors performing against the backdrop of glorious sea views more than 2,500 years ago. Day 8 | Taormina Free Day
Taormina is yours for the taking today. During your free time, you could choose to explore the elegant boutiques along Corso Umberto. Work up an appetite and stop for some of the city’s signature cannoli or cool down with a famous Sicilian granita, a half-frozen dessert served with a piping-hot brioche. Movie buffs will delight in an Optional Experience to Mount Etna and Savoca, the hilltop village of ‘The Godfather’. Later this evening, learn the art of Sicilian cuisine on a charming Be My Guest experience. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Hotel: Caesar Palace Giardini Naxos
OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES:
Mt. Etna, Savoca and The Godfather – Discover rustic village life with your Local Specialist as we visit Savoca, the Sicilian setting for ‘The Godfather’. Enjoy the stunning views before a visit to Vitelli’s bar, featured in the film and famous for ‘granita di limone’. Later, you’ll journey up Mt.Etna, one of the most intriguing volcanoes in the world. Day 9 | Farewell Sicily
Your journey through Sicily has come to an end. All that’s left is to say a fond farewell to new friends and take your airport transfer for your return journey home. Meals: Breakfast

- These offers are provided by Travel and Leisure Australia Pty Ltd ACN 090 083 613 (Developer) via the Travel Flex benefit as part of Lifestyle by Wyndham membership and are subject to availability at the time of booking. Travel Flex is available to all Lifestyle Gold members and above.
- You can exchange up to the equivalent of your annual holding of Lifestyle Qualified Credits toward Travel Flex:
- For Gold members, this will be between 35,000 and 62,999 credits per year.
- For Platinum members, this will be between 63,000 and 99,999 credits per year.
- For 100 Club members, this will be from 100,000 credits per year with a maximum cap of 150,000 credits permitted per year.
- NOTE – only your annual holding of Lifestyle Qualified credits may be used; you cannot use saved or borrowed credits.
- Lifestyle Platinum and 100 Club members can make up to two transactions per promotional period (provided the total amount of exchanged credits does not exceed your annual holding of credits or the cap of 150,000 credits for 100 Club members).
- Your credits must have a minimum of 6 months / 180 days validity for use with Travel Flex
- You must provide a Housekeeping Token for the first 19,999 credits and for each additional 10,000 Lifestyle Qualified Credits exchanged for Travel Flex.
