DAY 1 | Arrive Buenos Aires

Stay: Two Nights, Buenos Aires, Alvear Icon Hotel

On arrival in the Argentine capital, you’ll be met and transferred to your luxurious hotel in the cosmopolitan Puerto Madero neighbourhood. Settle in before meeting your APT Tour Director and fellow travellers.

DAY 2 | Buenos Aires (B)

This morning, delve deeper into Buenos Aires’ sights on a city tour. Discover the must-visit destinations, including Recoleta Cemetery, the colourful streets of La Boca, and the trendy neighbourhood of Palermo. This evening, meet for a ship briefing in anticipation of our exciting cruise ahead

DAY 3 | Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Embark Antarctica Cruise (BLD)

Stay: Ten Nights, Seabourn Venture

Board your included exclusive APT flight to Ushuaia and join a guided tour of Tierra del Fuego. After a light lunch, board your ultra-luxury expedition ship, Seabourn Venture, to begin your 10-night Antarctic Peninsula cruise. Be greeted by your Expedition Leader and a team of expert naturalist guides. Settle in before enjoying a captain’s welcome dinner. Afterwards, head to the deck to take in the stunning scenery of the Beagle Channel.

Signature Experience –Tierra del Fuego National Park Tour – Take a tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you can experience the rugged natural beauty of Argentina’s southern tip. If you’re lucky, you may spot a roaming guanaco (a close relative of the llama)

DAYS 4 – 5 | Drake Passage (BLD)

Sail across the Drake Passage, the cruising gateway to Antarctica. Learn about the adventures ahead during informative, interactive and entertaining presentations on the wildlife, history and geology of Antarctica, delivered by your expert Expedition Team.

DAYS 6 – 10 | Antarctic Peninsula (BLD)

On arrival in Antarctica, your itinerary exploring this magical world of ice and water becomes flexible. Your Captain will chart a course based on the most exciting sights and the most favourable ice and weather conditions. Each day on your cruise you’ll enjoy Zodiac excursions. Visit penguin rookeries, seal colonies and keep an eye out for orca, humpback and minke whales that frequent these waters. Head to Deception Island, an active volcano once home to a whaling station. You may also have the opportunity to stop at the Port Lockroy scientific base. From here, you can send a postcard with a rare Antarctic stamp

DAYS 11 – 12 | Drake Passage (BLD)

Return to South America across the Drake Passage. Enjoy time on board and continue wildlife spotting

DAY 13 | Disembark Ship, Ushuaia, Buenos Aires (B)

Stay: Two Nights, Buenos Aires, Alvear Icon Hotel

Today, disembark your ship in Ushuaia and fly to Buenos Aires on your included exclusive APT flight, then be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 14 | Buenos Aires (BD)

The choice is yours today with a selection of activities on offer. This evening, for your special farewell dinner, attend a fiery tango show and enjoy a delicious meal during the performance.

Freedom of Choice – Tigre and Paraná River Cruise – Head to the island town of Tigre and enjoy a cruise over the rivers and canals of the Paraná Delta.

Freedom of Choice – City Walking Tour – Discover the Parisian character of Buenos Aires, visiting the Plaza San Martin, Plazoleta Pellegrini and more.

Freedom of Choice – Teatro Colón Tour – Immerse yourself in Buenos Aires’ sophisticated high-arts scene on a fascinating tour of the iconic and majestic Teatro Colón, considered the one of world’s leading opera houses thanks to its impeccable acoustics.

DAY 15 | Depart Buenos Aires (B)

Your Antarctic and South American adventure comes to an end today following breakfast with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Travel Flex ^ guidelines

  • These offers are provided by Travel and Leisure Australia Pty Ltd ACN 090 083 613 (Developer) via the Travel Flex benefit as part of Lifestyle by Wyndham membership and are subject to availability at the time of booking.  Travel Flex is available to all Lifestyle Gold members and above.
  • You can exchange up to the equivalent of your annual holding of Lifestyle Qualified Credits toward Travel Flex:
    • For Gold members, this will be between 35,000 and 62,999 credits per year.
    • For Platinum members, this will be between 63,000 and 99,999 credits per year.
    • For 100 Club members, this will be from 100,000 credits per year with a maximum cap of 150,000 credits permitted per year.
  • NOTE – only your annual holding of Lifestyle Qualified credits may be used; you cannot use saved or borrowed credits.
  • Lifestyle Platinum and 100 Club members can make up to two transactions per promotional period (provided the total amount of exchanged credits does not exceed your annual holding of credits or the cap of 150,000 credits for 100 Club members).
  • Your credits must have a minimum of 6 months / 180 days validity for use with Travel Flex
  • You must provide a Housekeeping Token for the first 19,999 credits and for each additional 10,000 Lifestyle Qualified Credits exchanged for Travel Flex.
  • If you do not have enough allocated tokens per above, a fee of AU$139 is payable per 10,000 credits (or part thereof) exchanged.
