“Club Wyndham has enriched our lives for over 20 years. It has brought the family close together with a continuous supply of holidays, with many homes away from home. We have met so many wonderful people over the years, and have had so much laughter and experiences that we never would have had if it wasn’t for our holiday package. Over the years, our feelings for the club have been ambiguous. There were times when we felt resentment and disappointment, however, overall, we feel that joining the club was one of the best decisions that we ever made, and if I went back in time, I would do it all the same. Every year since joining, not only have we continued to go on holidays for both short getaways and long escapes, but we have also been able to spoil our kids. When I was a child, I only remember going on 2 holidays in 18 years. My children on the other hand are constantly on holidays, with at least 2 trips every year. I’ve been able to give my kids a lifetime of memories. We have travelled all over Australia and have stayed at almost every resort in our beautiful country. Not to mention a motorhome trip, several cruises and overseas trips. We can do this, because of the points system. There is no way that we would have ever travelled this much without being owners of Club Wyndham, and to that, I thank Club Wyndham for giving us this opportunity. If I had saved money and put it aside for holidays, there is a strong likelihood that all of these savings would have gone towards bills, and like my childhood, the desire to travel would have been dissolved into just a dream. Instead, we are now living our dreams.

On stressful weeks, we are able to book in staycations, so instead of returning home after work, and school, we simple drive a little further and stay at a nearby resort. The kids love it, and I get to unwind. And as the resorts always have activities, games and movies, it truly adds to a great bonding with the kids. For over 20 years, we have been living a wealthy lifestyle. And you don’t need a lot of money to do so. You just need to decide that if this is the lifestyle you want, then you too can have it. Even when we have been between jobs with no income coming in, we could always guarantee that our holidays were there waiting for us to embark on. Plus with retirement not too far in the distant future, even on a pension, we will still be able to travel on a regular basis. And the best bit about it, is when you travel, you don’t need to clean. “
