As we get closer to the end of 2023, our property development team has been working tirelessly to complete its refurbishment calendar before the end of the year. We are excited to share more updates on our progress below.
In addition to the refurbishments, we have had some fantastic special events with some of our club owners. We love seeing our owners enjoying themselves and making unforgettable memories, and we are thrilled to share some highlights of these events.
Following the recent refurbishment at Club Wyndham Wanaka, some of our studios will now have the added benefit of a fold out lounge, allowing owners to sleep three persons. From 2025, owners will be able to identify the studio sleeping three when booking online. Until then, assignment of the studios with additional bedding will be on a request basis only.
Please note that the credits required for a booking will remain the same for all 32 studios. The credit charts can be viewed here.
The refurbishment of all club apartments and some hotel common spaces at Club Wyndham Melbourne has been completed. The 87 apartments include studios, 1 and 2-bedroom standard and deluxe configurations, and stunning three-bedroom Grand and Presidential Suites, which have undergone a transformation to elevate your owner experience to new heights with modern aesthetics, vibrant colours, and locally inspired artwork.

Meanwhile, the refurbishment of the 36 remaining apartments at Club Wyndham Dunsborough is almost complete. The rooms have been repainted with a new colour scheme to reflect the local environment and beaches, and feature brand new furniture, beds, and soft furnishings. All bathrooms and powder rooms have been completely renewed. The standard and deluxe apartments have new kitchen benchtops and resurfaced cabinets. Additionally, the resort’s two-bedroom Grand apartments have had a second bathroom installed. The resort also has now five accessible rooms refurbished to meet national disability access standards.

LIFESTYLE BY WYNDHAM – 100 CLUB EXCLUSIVE TOUR OF MELBOURNE CRICKET GROUND
Over 160 Lifestyle by Wyndham 100 Club owners participated in an incredible event at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The event was hosted by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, the Club Developer as part of the Lifestyle program. They joined members of the Club Wyndham South Pacific management team and business leaders for a tour of the stadium and a visit to the Australian Sports Museum, where they learned the venue’s rich history and experienced its world-class facilities. The evening was capped off with a delightful and relaxing cocktail event where everyone had a chance to connect with each other and share their experiences.
Joining the owners at the event were Bruce Harkness, SVP Human Resources, Internal Communications and Customer Experience; Duncan Mars, Senior Director Operations; Sarah Korin, Senior Director Events & Brand Communications; Nicole Luli, Customer Operations Manager; Rebecca Hitchcock, Lifestyle Program Operations Manager; and Alvin Santos, VIP Relationship Specialist.
A special thanks to the amazing club owners for making this event a success!
DEGUSTATION EVENING AT CLUB WYNDHAM AIRLIE BEACH
Tides Restaurant & Bar at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach Whitsundays launched a series of fine dining events with its first ever degustation evening. The menu took our club owners on a culinary journey across five courses, which were expertly paired with wines from some of the world’s best growing regions: Reims and Burgundy in France, Marlborough in New Zealand, and Australia’s own Hunter and Barossa Valleys.
The night has given our long-serving chef, Matt MacCullum, the opportunity to unleash his creative genius, and club owners appreciated the mouth-watering dishes he plated up alongside wine pairings from William Gallagher, our recently appointed Restaurant Manager.
Following the October event, Tides Restaurant & Bar will hold a degustation event monthly. Diners who want to order la carte at the restaurant will still be able to dine during these evenings.
PINKTOBER MORNING TEA AT CLUB WYNDHAM DENARAU ISLAND
Our team at Club Wyndham Denarau Island in Fiji hosted an unforgettable PINKtober Morning Tea event with our club owners. The event was a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, and the team was able to present a donation of $6,000 to the Fiji Cancer Council. Club owners enjoyed the event’s pink cake, shared some great laughs, and came together to gather support for those who are diagnosed with cancer and their families.
Thank you to all owners for your generous donations toward this worthy cause!
