Resort Report – October 2023

As we get closer to the end of 2023, our property development team has been working tirelessly to complete its refurbishment calendar before the end of the year. We are excited to share more updates on our progress below.

In addition to the refurbishments, we have had some fantastic special events with some of our club owners. We love seeing our owners enjoying themselves and making unforgettable memories, and we are thrilled to share some highlights of these events.

SPECIAL EVENTS WITH CLUB OWNERS

Over 160 Lifestyle by Wyndham 100 Club owners participated in an incredible event at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.  The event was hosted by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, the Club Developer as part of the Lifestyle program. They joined members of the Club Wyndham South Pacific management team and business leaders for a tour of the stadium and a visit to the Australian Sports Museum, where they learned the venue’s rich history and experienced its world-class facilities. The evening was capped off with a delightful and relaxing cocktail event where everyone had a chance to connect with each other and share their experiences.

Joining the owners at the event were Bruce Harkness, SVP Human Resources, Internal Communications and Customer Experience; Duncan Mars, Senior Director Operations; Sarah Korin, Senior Director Events & Brand Communications; Nicole Luli, Customer Operations Manager; Rebecca Hitchcock, Lifestyle Program Operations Manager; and Alvin Santos, VIP Relationship Specialist.

DEGUSTATION EVENING AT CLUB WYNDHAM AIRLIE BEACH

Tides Restaurant & Bar at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach Whitsundays launched a series of fine dining events with its first ever degustation evening. The menu took our club owners on a culinary journey across five courses, which were expertly paired with wines from some of the world’s best growing regions: Reims and Burgundy in France, Marlborough in New Zealand, and Australia’s own Hunter and Barossa Valleys.

The night has given our long-serving chef, Matt MacCullum, the opportunity to unleash his creative genius, and club owners appreciated the mouth-watering dishes he plated up alongside wine pairings from William Gallagher, our recently appointed Restaurant Manager.

Following the October event, Tides Restaurant & Bar will hold a degustation event monthly. Diners who want to order la carte at the restaurant will still be able to dine during these evenings.

PINKTOBER MORNING TEA AT CLUB WYNDHAM DENARAU ISLAND

Our team at Club Wyndham Denarau Island in Fiji hosted an unforgettable PINKtober Morning Tea event with our club owners. The event was a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, and the team was able to present a donation of $6,000 to the Fiji Cancer Council. Club owners enjoyed the event’s pink cake, shared some great laughs, and came together to gather support for those who are diagnosed with cancer and their families.

Thank you to all owners for your generous donations toward this worthy cause!
