Club Wyndham Surfers Paradise

**Covid-19 Risk Reduction Plan Alert: As a precautionary measure, the resort facilities have the below restrictions in place:

– Swimming pool – Maximum 20 pax
– Gym – Maximum 2 pax
– Outside spa – Closed
– Outdoor BBQ Area – Maximum 20 pax

**Ross River Virus Warning June/July 2020: Health authorities have reported elevated Ross River virus activity in 2020 across New South Wales & Queensland Australia. Taking extra precautions against mosquito bites is recommended.**

**The Gold Coast City Council has imposed a 3 hour limit for street parking in the Surfers Paradise Central Traffic Area between 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Oversized vehicles are not recommended due to the property’s inner city location and limited parking options for large vehicles i.e. boats, caravans. For oversized vehicles and vehicles exceeding 2m please phone the resort in advance and reception staff will endeavour to assist with parking options.**

**Preparations are being made for the construction of a 40 storey apartment highrise building on the corner of Surfers Paradise Blvd & Markwell St, opposite Club Wyndham Surfers Paradise. At this stage we have few details as to possible impact on traffic in the area etc. Construction has not yet started.**

**Reception is open Sunday – Thursday 6:30am – 10:00pm and Friday/Saturday 6:30am-12 midnight. If arriving outside of these hours, there is a buzzer at the main entrance in Surfers Paradise Boulevarde. Alternatively, you can call the Resort on +61 75579-6500 to gain access.**

**Schoolies: Schoolie’s celebrations take place between November & December each year. If NOT attending Schoolies, House Rules DO NOT apply. Please make a note on booking that Owner is not attending. If Owner or their guest IS attending Schoolies, House Rules will apply, and a $300 Security Deposit is required, to be paid to the Resort no later than 7 days prior to arrival. It is preferable to have at least one guest staying who is 18 years of age or older, however if this isn’t possible, someone over the age of 18 must check the guest in, and agrees to accept full responsibility for the underage guests.**

  • A $100 deposit or credit card imprint is required upon check-in.
  • King bed in main bedroom cannot be split. King single beds in second bedroom can be joined, however must be requested at time of booking.
  • Rollaway beds are available at this resort at a cost of A$30 per night
  • Club Wyndham Surfers Paradise offers an airport shuttle. For more information click here.
  • The Gold Coast Light Rail conveniently links Broadbeach through to Griffith Hospital in Southport and runs adjacent to the hotel
  • The Super GP Car Race is held annually in October. You may find there will be increased activity in the area
  • Schoolies Week runs from November to December each year. During this period, the resort may apply house rules. If staying over this period, please ensure you are familiar with House Rules and Refund Request forms. Signed copies of these documents are required upon check-in.
  • If you are a Privileges member, your holiday groceries can now be ordered through Coles online! Log in to privilegesbywyndham.com with your Owner Number and the same password that you use for online bookings, and then click on ‘Resort Benefits‘ on the top menu for more details.
  • Wireless Internet & Movies are available and payable to the resort. This service does incur additional fees and charges of A$5-$7. Use of Wireless Internet is limited to five devices at any one time per Wireless Connection. Wireless Internet service is free for Privileges Elite and above owners*. Use of In-Room movies is limited for Privileges Elite and above owners based on tier level benefits. *Club Wyndham Managed Properties only.
  • This resort holds Owner Events throughout the year, speak with your resort reception staff for times when checking in.

Guest Bookings: Please keep in mind that as the Owner you are responsible for your Guest’s complying with Club guidelines and regulations, your Guest’s behaviour whilst staying at the resort, and any outstanding charges resulting from Guest’s usage at the resort.

Credit Card fees: From 1 September 2016 payments made by credit card for any charges incurred during your stay at a Club Wyndham resort will incur a Credit Card Service Fee of 0.9% in addition to the total amount payable.

Pets: Pets are not allowed at any Club Wyndham, Ramada by Wyndham or Associate property except in the case of hearing, mobility or vision-impaired guests. Please advise at time of booking if this applies.

Wi-Fi is available at most resorts however it may incur additional charges. We recommend contacting the individual resort reception to find out more.

General:

Does your reservation include an apartment move during your stay? The following guidelines apply:

  • Guest is responsible for packing own belongings.
  • Check out time for the first apartment is 12:00pm (noon).
  • Guest may be unable to check into next apartment until 4:00pm. Luggage can be left at Reception.
  • Reception staff are unable to modify bookings to avoid apartment moves. If you have any enquiries, please contact your Owner Services Team on 1300 850 160 (AU), 0800 850 160 (NZ), or 008 003 263 (FJ)

To make the most of the surrounding area, a car is recommended. Discounted car rental rates are available through Travel by Wyndham. Please call 1300 850 160.

Limited cots and highchairs are available at the resorts for use during your stay. Please ensure these are requested at the time of booking and we recommend contacting the resort 24-48 hours prior to  your check in to confirm your request.

Credit card payments relating to Fun Time, Bonus Time and One Time Credits bookings will incur a Credit Card Service Fee of 1.5%, in addition to the amount payable.
