It is amazing to think that we have all come so far since the start of the year and now have relatively few restrictions on travel. Our teams have recently had the opportunity to welcome back even more Club Wyndham South Pacific owners, some for their first holidays in two years.

One of the advantageous features of club ownership is that your vacation credits are valid for two years, which allows you to use your current year’s credits, save the previous year’s credits and borrow the next year’s credits (if you are up-to-date with levies) for long holidays, if that suits you.

With international travel becoming more streamlined in recent months, we are pleased to announce Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok Menam Riverside as another Club Wyndham South Pacific Associate Resort.

Previously a popular addition to the program, this excellent property is set in the heart of Bangkok on the legendary Chao Phraya River and is well-positioned for exploring the city, considering its proximity to Ko Rattanakosin, the Grand Palace of Bangkok and the city’s famous Emerald Buddha.

This hotel has an extensive array of facilities to enjoy after a day’s sightseeing, including restaurant, café, bar, large outdoor pool, fitness centre, day spa, sauna, 24-hour room service and babysitting services. The property also offers complimentary Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping and multilingual staff.

Club Wyndham South Pacific owners will be able to access two Premium Suite with River View apartments, which are air conditioned and provide complimentary Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities and cable TV channels.

Associate Resorts are not a benefit of club ownership, but a benefit extended by the Developer, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, and are subject to terms and conditions set by the Developer. One of these conditions is the booking windows, which are as follows:

  • Club Wyndham South Pacific premier owners: up to 3 months
  • Lifestyle Bronze: up to 11 months
  • Lifestyle Silver: up to 12 months
  • Lifestyle Gold: up to 12 months
  • Lifestyle Platinum: up to 13 months
  • 100 Club: up to 13 months

Looking at this year’s property refurbishments, the Property Development team has completed projects at both Club Wyndham Crown Towers and Club Wyndham Shoal Bay.

We are pleased to present our first photos from the Club Wyndham Crown Towers refurbishment. All apartments were repainted and provided with new furniture, bedding and soft furnishings, while old carpets and tiles were replaced with stylish vinyl flooring.

Twenty-two of the club’s 60 apartments undergoing refurbishment at Club Wyndham Golden Beach on the Sunshine Coast are almost completed. As part of this project, furniture, bedding, sofa beds, soft furnishings and artwork will be replaced, according to a new design.

All the apartments will also be equipped with additional kitchen facilities: four burner 600mm cooktop, 600mm oven and a single drawer dishwasher, while a new rangehood and stone benchtops are being installed. Some bathroom work will be conducted so that all apartments have a walk-in shower to improve accessibility.

There have been some supply issues around furniture shipments this year so, in most cases, we have installed temporary furniture or utilised existing furniture for a short time. Our team is now receiving the permanent furniture, which will be installed before the end of October.

As mentioned in the international property update earlier in the week, there have been some minor delays at Club Wyndham Sea Pearl – however, the apartments are expected to be released and re-opened over the course of October.

We are pleased to provide the following sneak peak ahead of official photography. Bedding, furnishings and soft furnishings have been replaced, along with the flooring in some apartments. Bathrooms works have been undertaken where required.

Parking has become more straightforward at Club Wyndham Melbourne. Owners can now have their parking at “First Parking” – located at 558 Little Bourke Street – validated at the hotel reception and enter and exit the car park multiple times across the course of the stay.

Owners looking to take advantage of this should collect a ticket on entry and present it to hotel reception on the same day of entry, instead of tapping their credit card at the car park. Parking is $30 a night and will be charged to your room account.

Platinum members and higher tiers of the Lifestyle Benefits program are entitled to free parking at the hotel. If you are unsure of how this works, please contact the Lifestyle by Wyndham team.
