Our family gathered at Club Wyndham Shoal Bay to celebrate a very special occasion, our dearest mum’s 80th birthday. It was a weekend filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, made even more special by the warm hospitality of the resort staff.
From the moment our family began arriving late on Friday night, the front desk team went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had booked eight rooms well in advance, 13 months ahead, and even joined the waitlist to ensure everyone could stay together. Family members travelled from all over the State, and despite the late arrivals, nothing was too much trouble for the welcoming staff.
The weekend was nothing short of terrific, offering us fabulous family time in a beautiful setting. One of the highlights was hiring a professional photographer to capture stunning portraits of our family. We had so much fun taking amazing photos on the beach.
What made this celebration even more meaningful was the flexibility our ownership provides. Being owners allows us to generously share this wonderful experience with family and friends, making moments like these possible year after year.
Our stay at Club Wyndham Shoal Bay was the perfect backdrop for a milestone celebration. We left with full hearts, beautiful memories, and a renewed appreciation for family and togetherness.

Our family reunited for a memorable two-day stay at Club Wyndham Ballarat. We booked seven apartments to accommodate 25 family members, some flying in from Sydney, including my husband and me, while others drove from Albury-Wodonga.
Coordinating with the resort manager, Philip Blain, we planned a unique and relaxing experience for everyone. The highlight of our celebration was a beautifully arranged pop-up picnic by the lake, organised by Gingo Tree Pop-Up Picnic and fully catered by a local provider. This thoughtful setup was perfect, since the resort itself does not have on-site dining facilities.
Surrounded by the serene natural beauty of the resort, our family enjoyed bonding over delicious food and tranquil moments together.
This celebration reminded us of the simple pleasures of family connection and nature’s calming influence. We’re grateful to the dedicated team at Club Wyndham Ballarat who helped make this event so special. We look forward to many more gatherings in this relaxing setting.
