Resort Report – May 2022

COVID-19 travel restrictions are easing in most places around the world and demand for international travel is starting to rise. Our resort operations and property development teams are at work making improvements to your properties for the present and years into the future.

In this month’s Resort Report, we will provide you with details about a new Associate Resort, a refurbishment at Shoal Bay and a philanthropic initiative at your Australian Club Wyndham South Pacific resorts.

We are very excited to announce Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Bali as our newest Associate Resort. It was previously an Associate Resort a few years ago.

Nestled amongst rice paddies and positioned right on the black sands of Lepang Beach, the resort is perfect for leisurely adventures like cycling through charming villages, snorkeling or diving through colourful reefs, or just relaxing by the pool with a drink in hand. If you love to get the heart racing and have the necessary skill, world-class surfing break Keramas is a few minutes’ drive away. The resort is also close to the renowned Ubud region and the Bali Safari and Marine Park.

The resort features a bar and restaurant, beach club, oceanfront pool, Tirta Spa, outdoor cinema and gym. The following room categories will be available:

  • 5 x Deluxe room
  • 5 x Studio suite ocean view
  • 3 x 1-bedroom pool villa

All apartments have complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a balcony or patio, separate baths and showers, and tea and coffee making facilities.

This Associate Resort will be available for bookings from 9am on Wednesday, 25 May, 2022 and the contract runs until 31 May, 2023, at this point. Owners are able to make reservations in line with their tier of Lifestyle membership. For more terms and conditions, please refer to previous announcements on Associate Resorts.

You can find credit charts and seasonalities here.

All 56 club apartments at Club Wyndham Shoal Bay will undergo a staged refurbishment throughout the year.

Bedding, furnishings, soft furnishings like curtains and some flooring will be replaced in line with a new design intended to capture Port Stephens’ coastal vibe. Apartments will be painted in a new colour scheme and new artwork will be selected.

We are taking care to ensure this refurbishment has the minimum possible impact on resort availability, as we understand owners want to travel after the restrictiveness of COVID-19. We hope to be able to tell you about further refurbishments in future Resort Reports.

We have finalised the June schedule for Owners’ Meet and Greets (informally called Owners’ Drinks), where you can meet the onsite resort team and your fellow club owners.

Find out more by asking at reception or review the monthly list anytime by visiting our Facebook group, exclusively for Club Wyndham South Pacific owners.

If you are going to be at one of these resorts at that time, please stop in and say hi! Our teams look forward to welcoming you.

Our resort teams love philanthropy and Wishes by Wyndham is supporting Supertee, a worthy organisation that provides medical garments for children during long-term stays in hospital. These look like superhero costumes and lift these children’s spirits as they undergo procedures that would scare many adults. You can learn more about Supertee by visiting their website.

You can help raise funds to provide Supertees for these deserving children by donating $1 (or more) on check-out, by purchasing a hot drink at selected cafes and restaurants at club resorts and by participating in a soon-to-be-announced raffle! Donations (not drink or raffle purchases) over $2 are tax deductible.

Thank you in advance for your support for this initiative. Our teams look forward to welcoming you to your resorts soon.
