Resort Report – February 2022

In a pleasing development, travel restrictions have continued easing in the opening months of 2022. Australia has reopened for international tourism and New Zealand has released a plan for reopening.

This month, we will provide you with some details about the new inventory added to Club Wyndham South Pacific at four existing resorts and highlight some of the stories from across the club portfolio.

Eleven new rooms have been added to Club Wyndham South Pacific during the past week. These additions are at the following four resorts:

Club Wyndham Coffs Harbour

  • 1 x 3-bedroom Deluxe apartment

Club Wyndham Flynns Beach

  • 1 x 2-bedroom Grand Garden villas
  • 2 x 3-bedroom Grand Garden villas

Club Wyndham Airlie Beach

  • 3 x 1-bedroom Deluxe apartments
  • 2 x 2-bedroom Deluxe apartments

Club Wyndham Phillip Island

  • 1 x 3-bedroom Deluxe villa
  • 1 x 3-bedroom Grand villa
All 11 apartments had already been made available to club owners until October 31 this year through an agreement between the Responsible Entity, Wyndham Vacation Clubs South Pacific, and the Developer, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific. However, these apartments are now owned by the club.

Any existing reservations at these apartments will not be effected by this change and the credit charts issued for new apartment types are the same as those issued for the rental period.

Our resort teams have started to observe special events this year. This month, the properties with food and beverage options onsite marked Valentine’s Day with special menus or set dinners for the evening.

Next month, teams at the club’s Australian properties will mark Clean Up Australia Day by getting their hands dirty and picking up litter within their community. We realise that club resorts are in some of the best holiday destinations within this region and our teams are passionate about doing their bit to keep them clean.

Clean Up Australia Day is on Sunday, March 6. If you would like to join the resort team, please ask at reception.

We are grateful to see freer travel and we look forward to welcoming more of you back to your resorts soon.
