3353−1 Arakura, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi 403-0011, Japan
Built in 1963 as a peace memorial, Chūreitō Pagoda is technically part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine, but has garnered a reputation of its own due to its fantastic location. This traditionally-constructed pagoda has near-perfect views of Mount Fuji, making it immensely popular with photographers. Depending on what time of year you visit, you might see the sakura trees in blossom (spring), or witness a fiery display of autumnal glory. Either way, if you’re feeling a bit snap-happy, Chūreitō is a great location to visit.
