Capilano Suspension Bridge

3735 Capilano Rd, North Vancouver, BC V7R 4J1, Canada

The famous Capilano Suspension Bridge was first born in 1888 as a hemp-and-cedar-plank footbridge; it took on its modern form in 1953, and has remained a national attraction ever since.  Spanning the Capilano Canyon, this amazing suspension bridge gives you incredible views of the river running beneath, and passes through groves of towering pine trees.  Other attractions within the Capilano Park include the Cliffwalk, the Treetops Adventure and the Story Centre, which showcases the bridge’s history as well as its First Nations connections.
