Perhaps even more rugged than Banff National Park, Jasper National Park is a patchwork of forests, turquoise lakes and towering mountains. Hiking, camping and skiing are all popular with the park’s more adventurous visitors, and there’s a number of famous attractions that lie within its borders. The ‘big game’ species are also well worth keeping an eye (or camera) out for – moose, grizzly bears, black bears, elk and bighorn sheep are just some of the park’s native animals.
