Have you ever wanted to see more of Australia using your club ownership?
We’re pleased to announce all Club Wyndham South Pacific owners will be able to book six new properties across Australia from tomorrow. These were included in a recent announcement of 11 new club resorts and open up opportunities to stay at new destinations like Magnetic Island, Caloundra and the Mornington Peninsula.
Magnetic Island, QLD – Island Palms Resort
A short ferry ride from Townsville, Magnetic Island is an island paradise where you can immerse yourself in tropical relaxation. Magnetic Island is home to the largest colony of koalas in northern Australia and boasts a proud military history which you can see in the Forts Walk and the iconic wreck of the SS Adelaide, sunk over a century ago.
The island’s within the UNESCO Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area and you can travel to the reef directly from Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal.
Situated just 100 metres from Nelly Bay Beach, Island Palms offers two-bedroom accommodation that can comfortably cater for four people. You can relax onsite and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, which is heated in winter, or play half-court tennis or table tennis.
Caloundra, QLD – Pacific View Resort
One of the most popular spots on the Sunshine Coast, Caloundra offers a completely different experience to nearby Golden Beach. Stroll over the road to Kings Beach and explore the stunning coastline, have a swim in rockpools, or try the pumping surf.
Kings Beach features a vibrant but laidback esplanade with a diverse range of cafes and restaurants and eclectic boutiques. Stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking are also an option at nearby Golden Beach, sheltered by Bribie Island.
The two-bedroom apartments sleep six people and offer air-conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, fully-equipped kitchens, laundry facilities and balcony. The property offers a heated outdoor pool, children’s pool, spa, sauna, barbecue facilities and table tennis. It is a 100 per cent smoke free property.
Port Macquarie, NSW – Port Pacific
Located in prime position in the middle of town, Port Pacific is just steps away from Port Macquarie’s best cafes, restaurants and bars. The Port Central Shopping Centre’s also just downstairs!
You’re a longer walk or a short drive away from Town Beach and the foreshore walk. Make sure you take the kids to the Wauchope timber village, the Koala Conservation Hospital and a few of the many multi-coloured koala statues set up around town.
The resort offers one and two-bedroom apartments with air-conditioning, balcony, partial kitchenette and complimentary Wi-Fi, and 24 channels free on Foxtel. The resort offers a heated children’s pool, indoor spa, outdoor spa, gym, tennis court, outdoor playground, table tennis, pool table, guest laundries, and an electric car charging facility.
Tomakin, NSW – The Moorings Resort
Positioned in a sheltered cove of the Tomaga River, The Moorings is a boat-friendly property just a 20-minute walk from Tomakin and its beautiful Tomakin Beach. Beaches at Mossy Point and Broulee are just a five-minute drive away.
The nearby Montague Island, off Narooma, is the second-largest island on the coast of New South Wales and is considered a Landscape Conversation Area. The island offers visitors the opportunity to snorkel or dive with seals and penguins, or you can catch the whales during September to November.
The Moorings offers an indoor solar heated pool, an indoor and outdoor play area for kids, a nine-hole golf course – and the opportunity to hire a boat for a voyage on the river. The Moorings offers two-bedroom apartments with air conditioning and partial kitchens.
Mornington Peninsula, VIC – Nepean Country Club
The Nepean Country Club is perfectly located just minutes from Port Phillip Bay, Rosebud, and Mornington Peninsula beaches. Guests also have easy access to some of Australia’s top golf courses, wineries and restaurants.
The resort sits amidst 35 acres of landscaped gardens and offers outdoor swimming pools, indoor heated pool, day spa, infrared sauna, gym, tennis courts, squash court, billiard tables, minigolf, beach volleyball, lawn bowls and more.
Club owners will be able to book in two-bedroom apartments, which include air-conditioning, kitchen facilities and laundry facilities.
Mildura, VIC – Sunraysia Resort
Enjoy a laidback stay in country Victoria! Mildura sits on Australia’s legendary Murray River and is the perfect cast-off point for a guided river tour to explore the ecosystem or a meandering voyage on a fishing boat (just be aware of the rules around what you can catch). Trentham Estate Winery ranks as a must-visit spot while there is an abundance of country pubs with tasty fare.
The resort offers a large swimming pool, a heated indoor pool, two heated spa pools, a sauna, two full-sized tennis courts (lit for nighttime play), a basketball court, minigolf course and arcade games the kids will love. Club owners can access two-bedroom apartments which can comfortably sleep six and offer air conditioning, heating, a fully equipped kitchen and, in some cases, spa baths and laundry facilities.
