New Resort Destinations

We are pleased to share some fantastic news of an upcoming Club acquisition that will offer Club Wyndham South Pacific owners accommodation at 11 new destinations!

The Developer, Travel and Leisure Australia (formerly known as Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific), has acquired, and intends to provide to Club Wyndham South Pacific, interests in multiple properties in New Zealand and Australia.

Owners will also have access to resorts in two stunning New Zealand destinations—Paihia in the North Island and Queenstown in the South Island.

These properties are all existing timeshare resorts, and the Club will acquire 1,828 timeshare weeks (equivalent to 35 apartments) including a mixture of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments.

Paihia, New Zealand

Queenstown, New Zealand

The properties will be progressively added to club inventory in the coming months, beginning with Paihia and Queenstown, which will be respectively known as Club Wyndham at Club Paihia and Club Wyndham at Queenstown Mews. They will be available for all owners to book from 11am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Tuesday, 11 March 2025 using the club website or through Owner Services. Click the property names above to see more details.

As these are in existing timeshare resorts, bookings are for 7-day intervals only, regardless of season or booking window. One housekeeping token will apply per interval. If booking more than one consecutive interval, you may also be required to change apartments.

These are existing timeshare resorts with their own booking windows that may be less than the 13 months offered by Club Wyndham South Pacific – meaning that you may not be able to book at the extent of the 13-month booking window. However, rest assured, our inventory team will be ensuring maximum booking periods as booking windows open at each resort every year.

This acquisition represents a strategic solution to provide more value and availability for club owners in the South Pacific region. While the resort or in-room FF&E standards at some of these properties are not to the standard you would normally expect with your Club resorts, we intend to work with the various bodies corporate over time to improve standards where possible.

RCI Affiliation

Club Wyndham South Pacific owners who are also members of RCI do currently have access to these resorts through the RCI exchange network. Owners will still be able to access these properties through RCI, however, owners will have no RCI exchange fee to pay when they book this inventory directly through the club via usual booking methods (including online and via Owner Services). The inventory RCI has in the resort cannot be booked via Club Wyndham South Pacific – it is different inventory.

This expansion ensures we continue to provide you with memorable holidays and exciting new destinations to explore.
