Managing Waitlists

You asked, we listened!

From today, all owners will be able to create, manage and accept or decline Waitlists on the new Club Wyndham South Pacific website.

Wait… what’s a Waitlist?

Waitlist is a feature that allows you to request your first choice of resort, room type or date if it has already been booked. Every time an existing booking is cancelled, the availability is cross-referenced with Waitlists before it becomes available for bookings again.

The system searches 24 hours a day, seven days a week for any requests that match a cancellation, up until 14 days before the requested check-out date (30 days for Exotic Resorts). Priority is given to the Waitlists that have been submitted earliest.

Creating Waitlists

The process of creating a Waitlist at clubwyndhamsp.com is simple:

  1. Log in as an owner in the top right corner
  2. Click ‘Make a Booking’ in the dropdown under ‘Owners’ Account’, on the top right corner
  3. Scroll down beneath the calendar and click ‘Join the Waitlist’
  4. Fill out the online form and click ‘Submit’.

Managing Waitlists

You can also view your Waitlists, then respond to them:

  1. Log in as an owner in the top right corner
  2. Click ‘Owner Dashboard’ in the dropdown under ‘Owner’s Account’, on the top right corner
  3. Click ‘View Waitlists’ under ‘Quick Links’
  4. When a Waitlist match has been found, you will have the option to ‘View Match Details’
  5. Click on this to ‘Accept’, ‘Decline’ or ‘Discuss Options’ – for example, if you would only like to accept part of the Waitlist

Please keep in mind that there are club rules around Waitlists and if your request does not meet them, an error message will appear. Some rules to keep in mind are:

·       Our system will search only until 14 days before your proposed check-out date (30 days for Exotic Resorts)

·       The latest you can submit a Waitlist is 14 days before your proposed check-in date (30 days for Exotic Resorts)

·       Each owner account can only have four Waitlists at any one time

·       Waitlists cannot be created for Associate or Affiliate properties

·       Waitlists cannot be placed on inventory before it becomes available for booking

·       Waitlists must conform to the same rules as club bookings (for example, a seven-day minimum more than nine months in advance during Red, Red 1 and Red 2 seasons)

Existing Waitlists will appear on your Owner Dashboard under “View Waitlist” and all future Waitlists made through Owner Services or the website will also appear on the Dashboard.

Updated Security Features

We have also made adjustments to the owner login section of the website to enhance security. Newly created passwords must contain:

·       At least one lower case letter

·       At least one upper case letter

·       At least one number

·       At least one special character

·       Eight characters or more

 

Existing passwords will continue to work. You will not be forced to change your existing password to meet the new requirements.
