At the heart of the kitchen is the wood fueled Argentinian Perilla grill engineered by Kurt’s dad.  The menu is designed around cooking over embers to intensify and develop the depth of flavour of the seasonal local produce, meat and seafood found on Norfolk Island.

The Homestead is situated on the western side of Norfolk Island adjacent to the 100 Acre Forest and giant Morten Bay figs. 100 Acre farm is a working farm that produces beef and vegetables commercially. The Homestead embraces the farm to plate philosophy as well as sourcing line caught fish from Norfolk’s’ clean wild waters.
