Departing Brisbane, you’ll travel south into the rolling hills of New South Wales before indulging in an incredible beachside dining experience in Coffs Harbour. Leaving Adelaide behind, you can relax, unwind and enjoy world-class service as the stunning landscapes glide by. On your three day journey, enjoy a mixture of time on train and the opportunity to immerse yourself in Off Train Experiences as you journey towards Brisbane. Lap up the spectacular scenery passing by your window, beginning in the magical Adelaide Hills and onto the ancient Grampians region in Victoria. Delve into the art, history and culinary culture of Canberra, and discover the nation’s capital. Feel the sand between your toes in the picturesque coastal town of Coffs Harbour. Then enjoy stunning views of northern New South Wales as you roll into the final destination of Brisbane.
Southern Summer Brisbane to Melbourne

Summer deserves a celebration – and what better celebration than travelling the east coast of Australia by train? Departing Brisbane, the Great Southern takes you south into the rolling hills of New South Wales before stopping for a signature beach side dining experience in Coffs Harbour. You’ll have time to meander through the historic vineyards of the Hunter Valley or explore beautiful Port Stephens by land or sea, before heading towards Victoria and ending your journey with a day of activities in Melbourne.

The Great Southern Fly Free special offer is valid for new bookings made between 1 July – 31 August 2026. Offer is available for travel between 14 December 2026 – 31 January 2027, from Adelaide to Brisbane or vice versa. Offer is subject to availability. Block-out dates apply. Prices may vary. Special offer includes free return flights. Return economy airfares and taxes are valid up to the value of $750 AUD per person. For business class, the difference between the lowest bookable economy class fare and business class fare will be paid by the passenger. Any additional flight costs will be at an additional expense. Flight offer is available from major Australian capital cities including Sydney, Darwin, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart and Canberra, and additionally available from Auckland and Christchuch in New Zealand. Flights are subject to airline availability. Flight tickets will not be issued until booking deposit has been received . Amendments to ticketed flights will incur airline related charges and a $50 pp admin fee. Any cancellations of ticketed flights may be subject to third party fees and charges as per Airline terms and conditions. No flight credits will be given for tickets issued under this campaign. TRAVELFLEX ^ Important guidelines
- These offers are provided by Travel and Leisure Australia Pty Ltd ACN 090 083 613 (Developer) via the Travel Flex benefit as part of Lifestyle by Wyndham membership and are subject to availability at the time of booking. Travel Flex is available to all Lifestyle Gold members and above.
- You can exchange up to the equivalent of your annual holding of Lifestyle Qualified Credits toward Travel Flex:
- For Gold members, this will be between 35,000 and 62,999 credits per year.
- For Platinum members, this will be between 63,000 and 99,999 credits per year.
- For 100 Club members, this will be from 100,000 credits per year with a maximum cap of 150,000 credits permitted per year.
- For 200 Club members, this will be a maximum cap of 200,000 credits per year
- NOTE – only your annual holding of Lifestyle Qualified credits may be used; you cannot use saved or borrowed credits.
- Lifestyle Platinum and 100 Club members can make up to two transactions per promotional period (provided the total amount of exchanged credits does not exceed your annual holding of credits or the cap of 150,000 credits for 100 Club members).
- 200 Club members can make as many transactions as they like per promotional period (provided the total amount of exchanged credits does not exceed the cap of 200,000 credits for 200 Club members)
- Your credits must have a minimum of 6 months / 180 days validity for use with Travel Flex
- You must provide a Housekeeping Token for the first 19,999 credits and for each additional 10,000 Lifestyle Qualified Credits exchanged for Travel Flex.
