Is a financial assessment required?
If there is finance owing on the ownership, yes.
In the event of adding an owner/s, this new owner/s will now bear financial responsibility. In compliance with the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, and under our Australian Credit License, we need to ensure that the finance agreement is not unsuitable for the borrower.
Does this change affect Lifestyle by Wyndham eligibility?
No, it does not. Lifestyle Qualified Credits remain on the account.
How long will this take?
The removal of an owner will generally be completed within seven business days of all documentation being received from all parties.
