Welcome to another edition of Resort Report.
We are halfway through the year and our Property Development team is making great progress on several refurbishments across the club portfolio. We will update some of the key projects in this report, share a calendar of NAIDOC Week celebrations and provide an update on how we have made Owner Meet and Greets more consistent.
In June, the following inventory became available for bookings:
Club Wyndham Airlie Beach
Club Wyndham Flynns Beach
Club Wyndham Phillip Island
The refurbishment of Club Wyndham Melbourne is scheduled to conclude in July. Over the course of the two stages, this year and last year, all 85 club rooms have undergone renewal. The apartments have been repainted and set out with new furniture, bedding and window furnishings, inspired by a new, sleek urban design. Bedrooms now have ceiling fans while the carpets have been custom-designed. Grand and Presidential apartments feature elegant pendant lighting. The reception is also undergoing some minor work that will conclude at the same time as the apartment refurbishment.
The refurbishment of Club Wyndham Kirra Beach is now underway. The club’s 98 apartments will be refreshed in two stages – the first occurring between now and Christmas, and the second next year. The apartments will feature a new colour scheme with fresh paint, furniture, bedding and soft furnishings.
Work will begin on the refurbishment of Club Wyndham Wanaka’s apartments in September, once the ski season has concluded. All 68 apartments will be repainted between now and the festive season and set out with new furniture, soft furnishings and carpet. A number of other adjustments have been made to the resort and its common facilities during the past year, and the work on reception has recently concluded. The bar will also be updated.
As with all refurbishments, quality used furniture is given to charity to support the local community and reduce landfill.
Our Owner Services team will now be available for an additional one hour on each weekend day, starting from Saturday, July 1.
The new hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 7am to 9pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

Sunday, July 2 to Sunday, July 9 is NAIDOC Week, a week designed to celebrate and recognise the culture and history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The week represents a fantastic opportunity for Australians to learn about one of the oldest continuous living First Nations cultures on earth.
Each NAIDOC Week has a theme, and this year’s is theme is For Our Elders. The theme serves to highlight the important role that First Nations Elders play within their communities through education, nurture, leading, caring, working hard and guiding future generations. First Nations Elders have been at the forefront of the fight for equality over many years.
The following managed Club Wyndham South Pacific resorts have celebrations planned for NAIDOC Week:
Please ask at reception to find out the times and dates for these activities, or for recommendations about what you can do at each destination to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
We hope you have had a pleasant first half of 2023 and look forward to welcoming you in the months to come!
The Club Wyndham South Pacific team
Club Wyndham South Pacific acknowledges the traditional custodians of Country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to them, their culture and to the Elders past, present and emerging.
