Things to check BEFORE requesting a combine of ownership:

A combine of multiple ownerships may only occur if:

  • the ownerships are in the same currency; AND
  • the vacation credits of each ownership have the same anniversary month; OR
  • the Transferor and Transferee are immediate family members (Grandparent,
Parent, Spouse, Domestic partner, Sibling, Children, or Grandchildren). In the event of a transfer between
immediate relations, we require a statutory declaration stating that this is the case or birth/marriage certificate
    to confirm the relationship; OR
  • the combine transfer is pursuant to a bequest under a Will

Note, there are no restrictions on the number of ownerships that can be retained and there is no restriction on transferring credits between ownerships for reservation purposes if multiple accounts are held.

What is the fee for this Change?
The fee to combine multiple Ownerships is AU$300 for the Change of Ownership fee. This can be paid by clicking the button below or by calling the Consumer Finance Team on 1800 021 129 (AU), 0800 558 668 (NZ), 008 003 263 (FJ) or +61 7 5512 0838 (INT).

What is needed to make this Change?
For a combine, the existing owner(s) will need to complete a Disclosure of Information (DOI) consent form. This form allows us to share information about the account with all parties. Once the DOI is received and the fee is paid, all parties will need to complete the Change of Ownership documents which are sent via DocuSign, unless otherwise requested. DocuSign is an efficient, easy, and safe way to ensure your request is completed electronically in the quickest possible time.

Is a financial assessment required?
If there is finance owing on the ownership, yes.

In the event of adding an owner/s, this new owner/s will now bear financial responsibility. In compliance with the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, and under our Australian Credit License, we need to ensure that the finance agreement is not unsuitable for the borrower.

Does this change affect Lifestyle by Wyndham eligibility?
It may. Lifestyle by Wyndham benefits are not transferred unless:

  • the transfer is to an immediate relation (Grandparent, Parent, Spouse, Domestic partner, Sibling, Children, or Grandchildren). In the event of a transfer between immediate relations, we require a statutory declaration stating that this is the case or birth/marriage certificate to confirm the relationship
  • the transfer is due to the ownership being bequeathed in a Will
  • the transferee purchases an upgrade to Lifestyle by Wyndham.

How do I request this change?
To combine an ownership, the existing owner/s will need to complete a Disclosure of Information (DOI) form, which can be done by clicking the DOI button below. This form allows us to share information about the account with the other party. Once the DOI is received and the fee is paid, all parties will need to complete the Change of Ownership documents which are sent via DocuSign, unless otherwise requested. DocuSign is an efficient, easy, and safe way to ensure your request is completed electronically in the quickest possible time.

If adding an owner, the new owner/s will need to provide Photo Identification (i.e., driver’s license, passport, etc.), which can be uploaded easily using DocuSign.

How long will this take?
The combine will generally be completed within seven business days of all documentation being received.
