The Royal Livingstone Express Historic Mulobezi Run
The train travels along the historic “Cape to Cairo” mainline towards the Victoria Falls Bridge. Leaving the outskirts of Livingstone, it enters the Victoria Falls World Heritage Site, where elephant and antelope are often spotted en route. On board, a local historian gives a brief talk on the history of Zambia and the railway line. The train stops on the bridge for approximately 20 minutes, giving you the chance to disembark, before doubling back past the Bushtracks siding and joining the Mulobezi Line.
The Mulobezi railway line runs through the heart of the Zambezi River Valley. Setting off through Dambwa Township and on up the line, the train runs parallel to the Zambezi River, with sunset enjoyed while travelling through the Mosi-oa-Tunya Game Park (wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed). Dinner is served en route to Sinde Siding. On reaching Sinde Siding, disembark with a beverage to enjoy local entertainment around a bonfire, with the Makishi Dancers and Tujatane Choir. Dessert is served on the return journey to Livingstone.

Fly to Victoria Falls before transferring to Botswana, where the Chobe Marina Lodge welcomes you. Chobe National Park is renowned for having one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephant, alongside buffalo, giraffe and a rich variety of birdlife along the Chobe River.

Rise early for a game drive across Chobe’s golden plains, tracking elephant, antelope and prowling predators as the bush wakes around you. In the afternoon, board a river safari along the Chobe River, drifting past hippo and crocodile as herds gather at the water’s edge.

- You can exchange up to the equivalent of your annual holding of Lifestyle Qualified Credits toward Travel Flex:
- For Gold members, this will be between 35,000 and 62,999 credits per year.
- For Platinum members, this will be between 63,000 and 99,999 credits per year.
- For 100 Club members, this will be from 100,000 credits per year with a maximum cap of 150,000 credits permitted per year.
