In previous Resort Reports, we’ve shared that the club is progressively acquiring an additional 10 million credits in WorldMark, The Club to expand options for Club Wyndham South Pacific owners.

In June, the last tranche of 4.4 million credits was successfully added – completing the 10 million credit transaction.

These credits ensure that more WorldMark, The Club inventory – including the inventory it holds at Club Wyndham Denarau Island – will be available to Club Wyndham South Pacific owners at 13 months. Look for room categories ending in “US” to identify the apartments that are part of WorldMark, The Club.

We have recently received questions from owners about the difference between Club Wyndham South Pacific resorts and the traditional timeshare properties – described in the Club’s Guidelines and Regulations as “Classical Weeks”.

Classical Weeks or Classical Collection refers to Club Apartments which are interests or weeks in traditional timeshare properties or other vacation clubs. Their inclusion has expanded the range of holiday options for owners, providing access to new destinations and experiences that may not otherwise be available within the Club Wyndham South Pacific portfolio.

However, as these are operated by different timeshare clubs, there are some additional rules that apply to the Classical Collection properties:

• They can only be booked in seven-night intervals
• Mid-stay cleans or complimentary weekly servicing are not standard
• Owners receive a “starter pack” of toiletries, soap, cleaning supplies, tea and coffee which should last them a few days, then they are expected to replenish their own supply

These properties are not solely owned or managed by Club Wyndham South Pacific. As a result, there may be differences in resort facilities, in-room features, and furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The overall experience may differ from what you would typically expect at a Club Wyndham Resort – for example, you may find fewer facilities or an experience that focuses only on the essentials. However, the stays usually represent excellent value for your vacation credits.

We understand how important quality and consistency are to your holiday experience. Where possible, we will work with the relevant bodies corporate or club management over time to help improve standards at Classical Collection properties. Please note that any upgrades or changes are subject to local governance, approvals, and practical considerations.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced it is changing its free night redemption tiers to 5,000, 15,000, 30,000 and 45,000 points per bedroom per night. The reduction of the lowest tier from 7,000 points to 5,000 points and the creation of a new 45,000-point tier means many hotels available through the program may change tier.

The reworking of the program may affect Club owners who are Lifestyle+ members who want to exchange their Lifestyle Qualified Credits for Wyndham Rewards points, with exchange values either increasing or decreasing.

Wyndham Rewards is the hotel loyalty program of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, a separate publicly listed company to Travel + Leisure Co. This means the Developer, Travel and Leisure Australia, has no input in the change. As always disclosed, the terms and benefits of the Lifestyle+ program are subject to change from time to time.
