March 12 – Arrival Day -Hobart Airport Transfers

Welcome to Hobart, Tasmania’s capital, set between the Derwent River and kunanyi / Mount Wellington. The city blends natural beauty, rich history and a vibrant food scene. On arrival, guests are met and transferred to Wyndham Resort Seven Mile Beach.

The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Welcome Dinner

March 13 – Salamanca, MONA & Hobart Waterfront

Salamanca Markets – Guests are transferred into Hobart to visit Salamanca Market, set along the historic sandstone warehouses of Salamanca Place and showcasing Tasmania’s produce, crafts and local makers.

Guests then make their own way to Brooke Street Pier.

Choice of Experience:  Guests may choose between a scenic harbour cruise or a visit to MONA, each offering a unique perspective of Hobart.

Dinner – Mures Upper Deck
Dinner at Mures Upper Deck, overlooking Victoria Dock and renowned for fresh Tasmanian seafood.

March 14 – Free Day
Day at leisure to relax or explore Hobart independently.

March 15 – Huon Valley & Far South

Huon Valley Touring: Travel south into the Huon Valley, known for orchards, farmland and apple-growing heritage.

Tahune Airwalk: An elevated walkway set above the forest canopy, offering sweeping views over the Huon and Picton Rivers, with nearby forest walks through cool temperate rainforest.

Hastings Caves: A guided tour through Newdegate Cave reveals vast chambers filled with stalactites, stalagmites and intricate limestone formations.

Willie Smith’s Apple Shed:Enjoy a tasting paddle and house-made apple pie in a relaxed, rustic setting.

March 16 – Channel & Southern Gourmet Trail

Grandvewe Cheese & Hartshorn Distillery: Taste sheep’s milk cheeses at Grandvewe alongside small-batch spirits at Hartshorn Distillery.

Hartzview Vineyard: Wine tasting overlooking the D’Entrecasteaux Channel.

Lunch at The Kiln Collective, showcasing local producers in a relaxed setting.

March 17 – Hobart & Surrounds

Hobart City & Salamanca  Guided exploration of Hobart’s historic waterfront and Salamanca precinct.

Lunch at Cascade Brewery, Australia’s oldest operating brewery.

Drive to the summit for panoramic views, with an optional short walk.

Richmond Historic Village: Visit Richmond, home to Australia’s oldest stone bridge and preserved colonial buildings.

March 18 – Free Day

A full day at leisure. Guests overnight – Wyndham Resort Seven Mile Beach

March 19 – Mount Field, Central Highlands & Pumphouse Point

Visit Russell Falls and surrounding forest landscapes. A gourmet packed lunch from Hill Street Grocer is included.

Derwent Valley & Westerway: Optional stop at Derwent Estate (time permitting), followed by Westerway Raspberry Farm.

Lake St Clair: Continue into the Central Highlands to Australia’s deepest freshwater lake.

Arrival at Pumphouse Point, a unique wilderness retreat set on Lake St Clair.

Dinner and overnight stay including breakfast, larder lunch, dinner and selected experiences.

March 20 – Lake St Clair & Pumphouse Point

Morning at Lake St Clair: Time to enjoy the peaceful surrounds, with options for short walks or relaxing by the water.

Lunch: Larder-style lunch included.

Dinner: Dinner at the property featuring seasonal Tasmanian produce.

March 21 – Central Highlands, Queenstown & Strahan

Journey to Queenstown Travel west through Tasmania’s rugged Central Highlands.

Queenstown & West Coast Rail

Lunch at Tracks Café.

Board the 2:15pm Lynchford Express on the West Coast Wilderness Railway, a 1.5-hour return journey through rainforest and historic mining areas.

Strahan: Continue to Strahan with time to explore the waterfront or Hogarth Falls.

Dinner – Hamer’s Bar & Bistro

Two-course dinner (no drinks).

March 22 – Gordon River & Strahan

World Heritage Cruise Board the 9:00am Gordon River Cruise, travelling through Macquarie Harbour and along the Gordon River with stops at Heritage Landing and Sarah Island.

Afternoon in Strahan  After the cruise, guests have time to explore Strahan.

Guests will also enjoy The Ship That Never Was, Australia’s longest-running play, telling the dramatic and often humorous story of a historic convict escape.

Dinner – Hamer’s Bar & Bistro

Two-course dinner (no drinks).

March 23 – Cradle Mountain

Depart Strahan and travel to Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park.

Lunch at the Cradle Mountain Tavern.

Cradle Mountain: Time to explore the national park, with options for short walks or wildlife spotting.

Guests overnight – Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge

March 24 – Launceston via Sheffield

Depart Cradle Mountain and travel via Sheffield, known as the “Town of Murals.”

Departure Transfers

    A TOUR HOST is an experienced Travel Club member who is highly knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour. They dedicate their time, including weekends, to accompany you and ensure a seamless experience. Please note that the provision of a Tour Host is contingent upon meeting the minimum number of participants, which varies depending on the destination and tour.
  • What kind of fitness level do I need?
    From our experience, a reasonable level of physical fitness helps ensure that all
    travellers can enjoy the tour comfortably and without unintentionally affecting the
    experience of others. While you’re encouraged to participate in all activities, we
    understand that some may not suit everyone. You’re welcome to sit out any part of the
    itinerary and make your own arrangements during that time if needed.
    To help maintain the comfort and enjoyment of the group, we ask that all travellers are
    generally able to:
    Manage their own needs during the tour without assistance.
    Walk up to 2 km on level ground in approximately 45 minutes.
              Climb a flight of stairs without difficulty.
              Carry their own hand luggage.
    These guidelines are intended for your wellbeing and that of your fellow tour
    members. If your health or mobility prevents you from participating in key parts of the
    itinerary and this causes ongoing disruption to the tour, the Tour Manager may discuss
    alternative options with you. We’ll do our best to support you with arrangements, but
    any extra costs will be at your own expense, and no refunds will be given for sections
    of the tour you do not complete.
    By paying a deposit for the tour, we take it as confirmation that you have read,
    understood, and are comfortable with these guidelines.

These offers are provided by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific Pty Ltd ACN 090 083 613 (Developer) via the TravelFlex benefit as part of Lifestyle by Wyndham membership and are subject to availability at time of booking.  TravelFlex is available to all Lifestyle Gold members and above. You can use up to maximum number of credits as listed below of your Lifestyle Qualified credits toward TravelFlex:
60,000 credits  for Gold, 90,000 credits  for Platinum, 150,000 credits for 100 Club.
It is a limited offer which can only be used once before the expiry date.Lifestyle Platinum and 100 Club members can make up to two transactions per promotion period (provided the total amount of exchanged credits does not exceed the above cap)
Your credits must have a minimum of 6 months / 180 days validity for use with TravelFlex
