“When we first joined in 2003, we purchased the minimum number of credits and were sceptical about how beneficial this Holiday Club, then known as TrendWest could be. From our first night at Port Stephens, we recognised the quality of the apartments and little by little, we explored the different locations, always going to presentations in order to understand the benefits more and little by little adding more credits. We have had the best family holidays, taking children and grandchildren to Kirra Beach, Port Douglas, Dunsborough, Philip Island and Fiji. We decided this was better than owning a holiday home as we get to go to so many different destinations and while we pay for property maintenance in our annual levies, we don’t actually have to do any maintenance or cleaning. We are now planning to head to the snow at Dinner Plain next winter. “I have been a Wyndham member since 2001, when the company was formally owned and named “Trendwest”. Back then, Wyndham had a few resorts in Australia, Fiji and associated with America. There was no RCI, Travel Club, Wyndham Rewards or Lifestyle Privileges.

Over the last 24years as a Wyndham member, I have seen the club grow immensely and given my family and friends many holidays together. I have stayed in many of our Australian Wyndham resorts (Surfers Paradise and Golden Beach are my favourites) and overseas to Thailand, Malaysia with RCI and I’m currently planning a big trip to Europe in 2027 for my 50th Birthday.

I have a few stories from my Wyndham stays including my family and friends staying at Wyndham Kirra for my marriage but one of my favourites was my trip to Thailand. My partner and I stayed at Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket, as a celebration for finishing my Paramedicine degree in November 2019. We absolutely loved the resort, meet lots of new people including other members and had a fabulous holiday. We are both looking forward to going back to Thailand in the near future.

Christmas Eve was a bison steak at a local fine dining restaurant, and on Christmas Day, we hit the slopes and skied through soft powder beneath crisp blue skies, an experience we’ll never forget. That morning, wrapped in scarves and laughter, sipping hot cocoa before strapping on our skis, we realised how lucky we were to have a “home away from home” in such a special place. We are planning on going to Park City Utah next year if possible.

Our Club membership has also simplified the logistics of planning a getaway. It gives us the freedom to dream bigger and explore more.

“Rumour is that “Wyndham”in a now lost language means ‘special time shared for fun and memory making’. True? It certainly has been for us. For the last twenty years we have had great holidays with family, friends and other owners we just met that day at owners drinks! After our long (sometimes just up the road) drive, we are confident our apartment will be ready, clean and fully equipped, our ‘home away from home’, in a great location with ever-obliging staff. All our ‘Wyndham times’ have been great but our most memorable has to be Shoal Bay during the dark days of 2021. We had a booking but it was Lockdown again. 5 km radius. We had just bought a small boat and hadn’t yet launched it.. With just an hour before lockdown was to start we arrived at Ramada Shoal Bay.

‘Welcome, said Julie, I’m afraid, apart from the Adelaide newly weds stranded here, you are the only guests!’ What a shame! Not! We had the best stay! Mark, the manager knew all the best boat launching places, Julie had a stock of books, games and jig saws to entertain us. It was a great 10 days, but still not forgiven by our friends and family who were locked down at home!”

“Simply said I would never have been able to take a holiday if I hadn’t invested in Wyndham. Being an immigrant in my early 40s, my husband and I were only able to get part time jobs. We had two girls starting high school and things were tough. “It started when i went to a presentation at Lutwyche for trend west and got 4 nites in Fiji at a resort so i rang and booked the stay as well as flights.The first hotel wasnt much good and it had a box aircon it wasnt trend west .After that we went to denaru island and the size of room and quality and friendly atmosphere really impreed me along with the size of the pool and the pool bar as well as the local area for sight seeing and i was totally amazed at how good it was.I had the greatest time ever in a really good resort so i made it my mission in life to join up when i went back home.Since then we have been to many other resorts and dispite the club changing its name a couple more times we kept going to many more resorts and even found one an hours drive from where we live along with tasmania and then to overseas destinations so now we are spoiled for choice and have upgraded our membership even travelling to the united states a few times i could not stay in those small dingy hotels again i need a resort perhaps im spoilt but i coudnt travel any other way now its the new normal”

“The other day, I took my family and our dog to Club Wyndham Sundance Resort Onjuku.
The ocean was right in front of us.
We were blessed with good weather, and the view from our room was amazing. Our dog was happily running around on the beach.
We went for a walk to the Moon Desert, and the kids took off their shoes and enjoyed the sandy beach. In the evening, we rented a DVD, watched a movie, and also rented Jenga to enjoy a relaxing time together in our room.
The only downside was that we realized too late that yukata robes were available for free rental. Next time, I’d like to wear a yukata and take a stroll along the beach in the evening.

The origami on the table in the room provided a soothing respite for my tired body after driving.

This is a pet-friendly and driver-friendly inn.
Both the pet’s sandy paws and the children’s feet were easily cleaned off with the outdoor shower.”

“We have had some wonderful holidays during the 22 years of our membership. Last year, the year of our retirement, we had a “Grand Year”! After sailing from Brisbane to Hawaii (booked through OVC) we flew to LA, where we stayed at the Anaheim property before heading off on a 7 day cruise to Mexico and return. After picking up our car for the start of 8 weeks driving around the United States, we drove to our first stop, San Diego. We travelled through 11 States – California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, South Dakota, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Of the 56 days away, we stayed in 12 Worldmark properties, 7 properties using Wyndham Rewards and paid cash for only 3 properties.

We had an absolute ball! We bought a year pass for the National Parks and Visited 18 parks all up. We saw some amazing sights and wildlife. Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite NP, Glacier NP, Mt. Rainier NP, Saguaro NP, Custer NP to name a few. We saw grizzly bears, black bears, elk, deer, moose, marmot, bald eagles, whales, prairie dogs and coyote. We travelled over 10,000miles (over 16,000 kms) in 8 weeks. It was the holiday of a lifetime, but luckily for use, we can do it again, and again. We would never have been able to afford a holiday like this if we hadn’t had our Wyndham membership. The accommodation alone would have cost over $30,000. Plus we got our credits back and we booked and set off on our next adventure!”

“We became owners of Club Wyndham back in February 2010, not fully realising then how much it would shape the way our loved ones spend time together. What started as a practical way to plan holidays has become much bigger. It is now the foundation to so many of our special memories.

Our trips have taken many different forms. We have organised weekends away with friends at Port Douglas, Shoal Bay, Hunter Valley, Flunns Beach and many more, with days filled with laughter and nights filled with long chats over great meals and fine wine. We have had family holidays in many of the club properties over the year. Our children still reminisce about our first Club Wyndham holiday to Ballarat as a young family. On one special holiday, celebrating our 27th anniversary in Dunsborough, we found ourselves having an impromptu catch up with friend from Canberra, fellow owners.

Through our shared experiences, and now older and wanting to create similar memories with his wife and daughter, our son has now also become a Wyndham owner. Likewise, my sister and her husband, looking to replicate what we have withe their own family and friends, have become owner. We have travelled to destination we previously thought unattainable by utilising our club ownership to its fullest potential. We have visited Disneyland in Los Angeles, road tripped through Wales, a train adventure through Europe, Skiing in Japan, Canada and New Zealand, and relaxing stays on the beaches in Fiji and Hawaii.

For us, the planning is almost as much fun as the holiday itself. Often starting with just a glimmer of an idea, a new resort we have not tried yet, or a favourite we are longing to revisit. That little spark, tiny little flicker, quickly grows into excitement as we work out who is coming who is coming with us, what we will do together, and wat special memories will be created.

In reflection, all the destinations have been beautiful. Having consistent high-quality resorts, along with welcoming staff, has made it feel like home away from home. This has always enabled us to relax and enjoy those we are there with. When we joined we did find it hard to pay for vacation credits and body corporate fees, but the flexibility if the fixed points-based system allowed us to afford family vacations during financially challenging times as our children grew up.

Realising the value of investing in additional points, we chose to allocate funds typically spent on expensive trips (like a $30-40k European holiday) into more points, ensuring annual credits for extraordinary adventures.

This strategy has enabled multi-generational trips with our children and grandchildren, fostering shared experiences while maitaining flexibility for individual travel.

The ability to sa ve or borrow points, combined with kitchenette-equipped accommodations, minimises costs, leaving only spending money for tours and dining out.

As retired grandparents, you cherish the ability to pass down points to your children, securing their future travel freedom.

Aspiring to reach the 100 Club tier, was our milestone for 2024 we value the expanded benefits from this investment, as example using points for flights and other experiences beyond resort stays.

Our recent trip to Tuscany would be my own personal highlight seeing my wife’s face experiencing this phenomenon beauty.

Our family 2027 bucks list holiday is to visit Japan, we would welcome the chances of winning a holiday to Japan, showing my daughter’s and grandchildren Japan an interest country to explore and soak in the culture and scenery.

This will allow my grandchildren the same Emotional experience that my girls had growing up, it has significantly Impact and I do hope improves the Legacy we leave behind.

Our recent Port Douglas trip we are sharing right now, the grandchildren were so exited and I was extremely proud of the way they Partisipated on the Low Island Calypso boat trip.

The hotel pool area the children are never out of it, their swimming has improved dramatically and this will have a long term impact on their abilities and confidence thank you Port Douglas.

Wyndhams Flexibility and Global Access: we do want to go to Japan and we were very excited to hear about more options around Japan with the inclusion (Club Wyndham Sundance Resort Nasu and Chikumakan Nagano) when we visit we will likely spend 4 days in each location and use the bullet train recommend by the staff at our owner presentation, allowing the family to add Japan as a new adventure.

The option in Japan of attraction like hot springs snow fields or cherry blossom makes it a phenomenal choice.

“My husband and I rarely went away due to the commitment of having 6 children between us and working full time. My husband is a Nurse Manager which means he is accountable for the hospital, staff and patients after hours. I am a critical care nurse and have recently become a mental health nurse. We have been nursing for 20 years. I have been studying in order to achieve my new role. We both dedicate our lives to helping people which is very demanding and involves shift work. So often we do not see each other and are usually very fatigued from long hours with night duties and stressful demand. We purchase a caravan and realised this will incur maintenance costs, insurance and registration, plus a vehicle capable of towing it. We also realise we couldn’t share our travel with our family.

Then in 2028, Brad was diagnosed with leukaemia. He became the patient and our lives changed dramatically. Our priorities had to change. Brad required treatment and he is now stable. He was medically discharged from the Army Reserves which was a great loss to him. As we age, we now realise time with family is what matters. Time with our children who all have partners and our parents. Life is too short.

It made perfect sense to sell our caravan and invest in Windham holidays. We now plan holidays with our children and family. This would not haven possible without Wyndham. We can see parts of the world and share it with those not so fortunate to be able to afford holidays.

This trip we have explored Ballarat, Melbourne, Dinner Plains and Phillip Island. My brother came and he could never afford such a trip to the snow! We don’t want regrets. We want memories to treasure with our family forever because you never know what tomorrow brings. Thank you Wyndham!

Our membership truly unfurled the world. New Zealand captivated us, then came America. The West Coast unveiled itself in a grand adventure: amazing accommodations, the magic of Disneyland, and an unforgettable drive through the Redwoods. Using Club rooms and Wyndham Rewards, we navigated the USA and Canada. Cruising Alaska with a two-for-one deal was breathtaking.

“My husband, Rob & I had a marvellous 8 week holiday in January 2020-COVID times (unbeknown to us) we couldn’t work out how we could get so close to the Trevi Fountain no tourists. Same with all attractions- Leaning Tower etc
But we had a magical time at Colleoli in Tuscany. The opening of the Wyndham Borgo Di Colleoli. We were the only ones staying here- NZ & Aussies were just cancelling every day, due to Covid, which we learnt more about.

The Manager was very upset with all the cancellations & he was missing his family in the UK. He took us out a couple of days sightseeing & lunch, then coming home to the music room/a collection of LP Records of any genre + a few glasses of Chianti! Brilliant

After travelling UK at the beginning of trip, then came Europe on the Eurostar to Brussels/Amsterdam. Where we used some credits / points for accommodation. We also travelled by coach from Paris to Florence. Car hire was great also. (I didn’t have enough credits for car, but we did exceptionally well.)

The last 3 weeks the beautiful Mediterranean Cruise-through -Travel Club. We were to board the ship at Rome’s Port Civitavecchia-& luckily it was cancelled-we came carefully home.

“We attended the Parramatta branch of Trendwest in December 2000 to hear about this program and because we are a holiday lovers we signed up right there and there, signing for only the basic 6,000 credits and over the years add and add more credits until we now own credits that is enough to use every year.

We have used it overseas, French Riviera, Hungary, LA, NY, Orlando, LV many times, Fiji in many times, Hawaii-twice, Japan and the latest in Vancouver. We have been using it also in Manly, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Cairns, Coffs Harbour Pokolbin and our favourite out of town resort is Shoal Bay.

We have enjoyed 50 stays in Australian Wyndham Resorts, plus Club Tours to China, Vietnam/Cambodia and in 2026 to Fiji. Cruises to the South Pacific, Fremantle to Cairns, San Juan to Barcelona and Athens. The free Wyndham Yearly Club Benefit have seen us with new Samsung suitcases and a backpack on wheels, awesome for all our holidays.
The support of the 100 Club Team is simply the best they are prompt with replies and offer valuable assistance whenever required, nothing is too much trouble for the whole Team.

Meeting Wyndham staff and other 100 Club Members at the VIP Events of the Vivid Light Display on Sydney Harbour and the tour of the Melbourne Cricket Ground were Club highlights for us.

The China Club Tour with three experienced guides realised our dream of visiting the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors.

The Vietnam/Cambodia Club Tour was an educational and moving holiday with local guides.

Our April/May 2025 five week holiday was arranged through Wyndham Travel Club providing everything we needed, very detailed emails and follow up phone calls, planning was so much easier.

We flew from Melbourne to Puerto Rico, using Wyndham Rewards stayed four nights at the luxurious Wyndham Rio Grande in Puerto Rico, five nights at the equally splendid Wyndham Grand Athens. Included was a twenty two nights cruise on the Virgin Resilient Lady, on shore excursions to Tenerife, Casablanca, Palma De Mallorca, Valencia, Barcelona Spain, Cannes France, Rome Italy, Valetta Malta, Mykonos and Athens Greece
Special memories:

Lost in Casablanca: Rex as usual was taking extra photos in the narrow and winding streets of the Old Casablanca Market. The tour group and Rex went different ways and a search party was sent out to find him and two fellow travellers from America.

There was no internet available to help the search but the tour guide found them all together back at the last stop the Market.

Rome: We had been unable to arrange to vote in the Australian Federal Election before we left home. The day tour In Rome was the only opportunity we had to complete our mission to vote and return to the ship before departure time. The five hour journey included buses, walking and trains (a kind Italian lady even gave me a coin to go to railway station toilet) we got to the Australian Embassy voted and returned with thirty minutes to spare.

“We have had some wonderful holidays during the 22 years of our membership. Last year, the year of our retirement, we had a “Grand Year”! After sailing from Brisbane to Hawaii (booked through OVC) we flew to LA, where we stayed at the Anaheim property before heading off on a 7 day cruise to Mexico and return. After picking up our car for the start of 8 weeks driving around the United States, we drove to our first stop, San Diego. We travelled through 11 States – California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, South Dakota, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Of the 56 days away, we stayed in 12 Worldmark properties, 7 properties using Wyndham Rewards and paid cash for only 3 properties.

We had an absolute ball! We bought a year pass for the National Parks and Visited 18 parks all up. We saw some amazing sights and wildlife. Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite NP, Glacier NP, Mt. Rainier NP, Saguaro NP, Custer NP to name a few. We saw grizzly bears, black bears, elk, deer, moose, marmot, bald eagles, whales, prairie dogs and coyote. We travelled over 10,000miles (over 16,000 kms) in 8 weeks. It was the holiday of a lifetime, but luckily for use, we can do it again, and again. “When we first joined in 2003, we purchased the minimum number of credits and were sceptical about how beneficial this Holiday Club, then known as TrendWest could be. From our first night at Port Stephens, we recognised the quality of the apartments and little by little, we explored the different locations, always going to presentations in order to understand the benefits more and little by little adding more credits. We have had the best family holidays, taking children and grandchildren to Kirra Beach, Port Douglas, Dunsborough, Philip Island and Fiji. We decided this was better than owning a holiday home as we get to go to so many different destinations and while we pay for property maintenance in our annual levies, we don’t actually have to do any maintenance or cleaning. We are now planning to head to the snow at Dinner Plain next winter. My work only allows for a certain number of weeks to holiday, and with time so precious, it’s been exciting to plan destinations to look forward to. My first trip was through RCI to Anaheim for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure (what better way to start my Club Wyndham journey than the Happiest Place on Earth!). I’ve used both Travel Flex and Travel Exchange for a Disney cruise from Melbourne to Auckland, a relaxing weekend at Mornington Peninsula’s Jackalope, and car hire with flights for Port Macquarie. I accessed Wyndham Rewards for the first time recently for my first trip to New Zealand, and have booked for Singapore next year. With Lifestyle by Wyndham I’ve enjoyed receiving the annual selection benefits, and regularly saving on my supermarket shopping. The Facebook group moderators and Owner Services have been fantastic, having a community of like-minded travellers sharing positive experiences has been inspiring and planning for trips less stressful – Thank You to the team! Owners’ drinks have been a great way to learn and share travel tips with others too over snacks and bevvies. I’ve been to 22 Club Properties (many more than once, each with its charms making it hard to pick favourites), and as a foodie, I have eaten my way through more destinations and delicious meals than I thought possible. Of the resort activities, I’ve enjoyed the hobby farm and billy tea at Seven Mile Beach, tobogganing and cocktail class at Dinner Plain, pandanus weaving and SUPing on Denerau Island. I look forward to seeing what 100 Club brings to my ownership and exploring the other bucket list properties in the future – a lifetime of adventure awaits!”

Holidays were a weekend away with the family once a year. “My husband, Rob & I had a marvellous 8 week holiday in January 2020-COVID times (unbeknown to us) we couldn’t work out how we could get so close to the Trevi Fountain no tourists. Same with all attractions- Leaning Tower etc
But we had a magical time at Colleoli in Tuscany. The opening of the Wyndham Borgo Di Colleoli. We were the only ones staying here- NZ & Aussies were just cancelling every day, due to Covid, which we learnt more about.

The Manager was very upset with all the cancellations & he was missing his family in the UK. He took us out a couple of days sightseeing & lunch, then coming home to the music room/a collection of LP Records of any genre + a few glasses of Chianti! Brilliant

After travelling UK at the beginning of trip, then came Europe on the Eurostar to Brussels/Amsterdam. Where we used some credits / points for accommodation. We also travelled by coach from Paris to Florence. Car hire was great also. (I didn’t have enough credits for car, but we did exceptionally well.)

The last 3 weeks the beautiful Mediterranean Cruise-through -Travel Club. We were to board the ship at Rome’s Port Civitavecchia-& luckily it was cancelled-we came carefully home.

We needed the week at home under Covid Guidelines- to recuperate! A brilliant holiday & we are so lucky to be able to enjoy many holidays with magnificent accommodation through Wyndham & Partners.”

We can honestly say that the holidays we have experienced during the last ten years have given us such wonderful memories and new friends that we would never have made.

Using the new Wyndham Lifestyle App we can save money on the many services and receive discounts on business products.

We have enjoyed 50 stays in Australian Wyndham Resorts, plus Club Tours to China, Vietnam/Cambodia and in 2026 to Fiji. Cruises to the South Pacific, Fremantle to Cairns, San Juan to Barcelona and Athens. The free Wyndham Yearly Club Benefit have seen us with new Samsung suitcases and a backpack on wheels, awesome for all our holidays.
The support of the 100 Club Team is simply the best they are prompt with replies and offer valuable assistance whenever required, nothing is too much trouble for the whole Team.

Meeting Wyndham staff and other 100 Club Members at the VIP Events of the Vivid Light Display on Sydney Harbour and the tour of the Melbourne Cricket Ground were Club highlights for us.

The China Club Tour with three experienced guides realised our dream of visiting the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors.

The Vietnam/Cambodia Club Tour was an educational and moving holiday with local guides.

Our April/May 2025 five week holiday was arranged through Wyndham Travel Club providing everything we needed, very detailed emails and follow up phone calls, planning was so much easier.

We flew from Melbourne to Puerto Rico, using Wyndham Rewards stayed four nights at the luxurious Wyndham Rio Grande in Puerto Rico, five nights at the equally splendid Wyndham Grand Athens. Included was a twenty two nights cruise on the Virgin Resilient Lady, on shore excursions to Tenerife, Casablanca, Palma De Mallorca, Valencia, Barcelona Spain, Cannes France, Rome Italy, Valetta Malta, Mykonos and Athens Greece
Special memories:

Lost in Casablanca: Rex as usual was taking extra photos in the narrow and winding streets of the Old Casablanca Market. The tour group and Rex went different ways and a search party was sent out to find him and two fellow travellers from America.

There was no internet available to help the search but the tour guide found them all together back at the last stop the Market.

Rome: We had been unable to arrange to vote in the Australian Federal Election before we left home. The day tour In Rome was the only opportunity we had to complete our mission to vote and return to the ship before departure time. The five hour journey included buses, walking and trains (a kind Italian lady even gave me a coin to go to railway station toilet) we got to the Australian Embassy voted and returned with thirty minutes to spare.

“Being a club owner has given us years of amazing memories! My husband and I became owners in 2007 and joined both my sisters and their partners as members.
Our favorite destination is Denarau, Fiji. Always a spectacular time. We have just returned from our 6th visit. The first time, back in 2009 was our first trip out of Australia as a family of 4- husband Paul with our young children Ruby and Christian. We joined my sister and partner and our parents.

Over the years we returned to celebrate milestones – my 40th in 2013, our 20th wedding anniversary in 2016, Valentine’s Day in 2023 and again last week to celebrate my sister Teresa Gutierrez’ 60th Birthday.

It has always felt like home, the staff go out of their way to ensure we always feel welcome.
While Denarau is our favorite destination we have loved them all!
In 2007 my entire family, 22 of us, stayed at Golden Beach. The memories created together with the help of Club Wyndham has given us a lifetime of joyful memories to hold close to our heart.

Seven Mile Beach last year was a totally different experience- Tasmania is beautiful and we experienced snow atop of Mount Wellington. Yet the warmth and attentiveness of the team was on par to the team at Denarau. We loved the owners garden and the wandering animals at Seven Mile Beach.

Now that our daughter, Ruby, is 23 she has used our points to explore Japan and is currently looking at vacancies for July. Wherever we have stayed, or will stay, we know that we will be greeted with a warm smile gracious conversation and be catered to our every need.

Working in retail, given the opportunity, I wouldn’t hesitate to employ any or all of your team members, Australia and worldwide whom we have had the pleasure of interacting with over the years.

Now that my parents are older and can no longer travel, and our children have grown and are no longer available to travel with us, the memories made in so many beautiful places, made even better by the friendliest teams and the clean, comfortable accommodations have become much more important. “We signed up with Trend West when I was a full time maturae age student in 1997, with just enough points for a one week stay at Kirra Beach in a 3 bed unit with our four sons. As the club had changed and grown so has our family and the diversity of our holiday adventures including trips overseas and cruising the Pacific, Panama Canal and Inside Passage with a week on the Rocky Mountaineer. We’ve seen the value of increasing our membership in gradual steps making it to 100 Club about two years ago in time for our retirement. “One of the great things about being a member of South Pacific Wyndham is that you always know that the standard of the accommodation and facilities is always high. This takes out the anxiety of whether the accommodation will be suitable. It is very good for the soul to be able to relax in luxury and be spoilt in such beautiful surroundings. We found this especially apparent two years ago when my husband took me to Airlie Beach for two weeks to recuperate from an operation. Phuket has alot to offer from shows, to carnival games to animals and good night market, Sunday walking tour and good food, beaches etc. We are glad to visit. One of the most cherished moments we’ve experienced was celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our entire family—15 of us in total—at the beautiful Ramada Resort by Club Wyndham Shoal Bay. We have invited our family on numerous opportunities to share with us our Wyndham South Pacific resorts. This has been from taking my mum to Tasmania and staying at Seven Mile Beach for a week;to taking my husband’s whole family to Fiji and experiencing the magnificent facilities and location. “Our stay at Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach was more than a babymoon — it became a treasured chapter in our family’s story. With our second child on the way, we cherished this special time together. Our daughter delighted in the simple joys of the resort’s hobby farm, and with proud smiles, we watched her learn to ride a bike — her tiny feet pedalling into independence.

But the moment that took our breath away came one evening as we wandered from the resort to the beach. The sky above us shimmered with waves of colour — the Aurora Australis, dancing silently in the night. We stood together in awe, the cool sand beneath our feet, wrapped in wonder. Our daughter called it the “rainbow in the sky,” collecting seashells under its glow as we captured photos and imprinted the memory deep in our hearts.

With the credits available, I could book three x separate rooms for three x nights at Dunsborough for my sons and myself to have a special family catch-up.

With myself and my youngest son living in NSW, my eldest son now living in the UK, and my son getting married to a West Australian family, this was a precious chance for us all to catch up for the wedding. It was in fact the first chance the three boys and my partner and I had been able to see each other together in nearly four years.

I’ve been a member since 2018 and this was my second stay at the Wyndham Dunsborough and it’s definitely one of my favourites. The on-site amenities, pool, BBQ area and restaurant are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, and the resort’s proximity to the Margaret River winery region, the sights of Busselton and the west coast beaches makes it an ideal holiday destination.

With my now-wedded son moving to West Australia permanently in December later this year, the Dunsborough resort is likely to be an annual (and welcome!) destination for my partner and myself”

“Wyndham resorts offers stress-free holiday accommodation. In all the places we have stayed, it has been comfortable and well maintained with friendly, helpful staff. Our recent stay at Flynn’s beach NSW (July 2025) is a case in point, We took our 12 year-old Grand-daughter (being winter school holidays). She participated in activities with other children without us having to organize these. The children’s program was was supervised and catered for primary school children. The children’s program offered a variety of structured activities on different days. The heated pool and spa provided opportunities for lots of water based fun (under adult supervision). Wednesday happy hour at Henry’s restaurant was enjoyable for us adults as we could meet other resort visitors in comfort while watching pool activities as large windows conveniently overlooked the pool.
Flynn’s beach provides a convenient year-round central location close to the local attractions. These include the koala park and board walk;rugged, scenic coastal walks;sheltered beaches and seasonal whale watching from near the local lighthouse. Port Macquarie’s historical self-guided tour (with audio), museum, port and town centre provided insights into the past re the development of regional pastoral, timber and fishing industries from harsh convict beginnings. Nearby towns and villages like Wauchope provide venues for family oriented daytrips and stops for meals and activities.
One distinct feature was the willingness for FB resort staff to facilitate respite care for family members/ carers with dependents with special needs. Convenient wheel chair accessibility of resort facilities makes this a welcome low-stress option.

I loved the wild-life the most, and the creek near the outdoor activities space. All the signs about the koalas were very fascinating. “Patty and I have been members since 2004. We have had many wonderful family holidays with our children. Now we are able to book accommodation for our children and their families at various places in Australia and overseas. We first had a family holiday at Denarau in 2005 with our children. In 2024 two of our children came from Australia and one from America with their families joined us. A prime example was when I was walking walking with my two year old granddaughter. A staff member was walking past. He stopped, picked a flower and put it in her hair, smiled and walked on. “We became owners of Club Wyndham back in February 2010, not fully realising then how much it would shape the way our loved ones spend time together. What started as a practical way to plan holidays has become much bigger. It is now the foundation to so many of our special memories.

Our trips have taken many different forms. We have organised weekends away with friends at Port Douglas, Shoal Bay, Hunter Valley, Flunns Beach and many more, with days filled with laughter and nights filled with long chats over great meals and fine wine. We have had family holidays in many of the club properties over the year. Our children still reminisce about our first Club Wyndham holiday to Ballarat as a young family. On one special holiday, celebrating our 27th anniversary in Dunsborough, we found ourselves having an impromptu catch up with friend from Canberra, fellow owners.

Through our shared experiences, and now older and wanting to create similar memories with his wife and daughter, our son has now also become a Wyndham owner. Likewise, my sister and her husband, looking to replicate what we have withe their own family and friends, have become owner. We love that sharing these occasions and experiencing firsthand how we use our ownership, has had this effect on those close to us.

We have travelled to destination we previously thought unattainable by utilising our club ownership to its fullest potential. We have visited Disneyland in Los Angeles, road tripped through Wales, a train adventure through Europe, Skiing in Japan, Canada and New Zealand, and relaxing stays on the beaches in Fiji and Hawaii.

For us, the planning is almost as much fun as the holiday itself. Often starting with just a glimmer of an idea, a new resort we have not tried yet, or a favourite we are longing to revisit. That little spark, tiny little flicker, quickly grows into excitement as we work out who is coming who is coming with us, what we will do together, and wat special memories will be created.

In reflection, all the destinations have been beautiful. Having consistent high-quality resorts, along with welcoming staff, has made it feel like home away from home. This has always enabled us to relax and enjoy those we are there with. “We have been members of Club Wyndham for over a decade. We enjoy and our primary motivation was to have a high quality, affordable family holidays. This was ideal especially when our 4 children were young. We often have annual summer vacations at Phillip Island or Torquay, Vic. This strategy has enabled multi-generational trips with our children and grandchildren, fostering shared experiences while maitaining flexibility for individual travel.

The ability to sa ve or borrow points, combined with kitchenette-equipped accommodations, minimises costs, leaving only spending money for tours and dining out.

As retired grandparents, you cherish the ability to pass down points to your children, securing their future travel freedom.

Aspiring to reach the 100 Club tier, was our milestone for 2024 we value the expanded benefits from this investment, as example using points for flights and other experiences beyond resort stays.

Our recent trip to Tuscany would be my own personal highlight seeing my wife’s face experiencing this phenomenon beauty.

Our family 2027 bucks list holiday is to visit Japan, we would welcome the chances of winning a holiday to Japan, showing my daughter’s and grandchildren Japan an interest country to explore and soak in the culture and scenery.

Our recent Port Douglas trip we are sharing right now, the grandchildren were so exited and I was extremely proud of the way they Partisipated on the Low Island Calypso boat trip.

The hotel pool area the children are never out of it, their swimming has improved dramatically and this will have a long term impact on their abilities and confidence thank you Port Douglas.

Wyndhams Flexibility and Global Access: we do want to go to Japan and we were very excited to hear about more options around Japan with the inclusion (Club Wyndham Sundance Resort Nasu and Chikumakan Nagano) when we visit we will likely spend 4 days in each location and use the bullet train recommend by the staff at our owner presentation, allowing the family to add Japan as a new adventure.

The option in Japan of attraction like hot springs snow fields or cherry blossom makes it a phenomenal choice.

“My husband and I rarely went away due to the commitment of having 6 children between us and working full time. My husband is a Nurse Manager which means he is accountable for the hospital, staff and patients after hours. I am a critical care nurse and have recently become a mental health nurse. We have been nursing for 20 years. I have been studying in order to achieve my new role. We both dedicate our lives to helping people which is very demanding and involves shift work. So often we do not see each other and are usually very fatigued from long hours with night duties and stressful demand. We purchase a caravan and realised this will incur maintenance costs, insurance and registration, plus a vehicle capable of towing it. We also realise we couldn’t share our travel with our family.

Then in 2028, Brad was diagnosed with leukaemia. He became the patient and our lives changed dramatically. Our priorities had to change. Brad required treatment and he is now stable. He was medically discharged from the Army Reserves which was a great loss to him. As we age, we now realise time with family is what matters. Time with our children who all have partners and our parents. Life is too short.

It made perfect sense to sell our caravan and invest in Windham holidays. We now plan holidays with our children and family. This would not haven possible without Wyndham. We can see parts of the world and share it with those not so fortunate to be able to afford holidays.

This trip we have explored Ballarat, Melbourne, Dinner Plains and Phillip Island. My brother came and he could never afford such a trip to the snow! We don’t want regrets. We want memories to treasure with our family forever because you never know what tomorrow brings. Thank you Wyndham!

“One of the greatest things about being a member of Wyndham South Pacific is that you know that the standard of the accommodation and facilities is always very high. This means it takes out the anxiety of whether the accommodation will be suitable. It is very good for the soul to be able to relax in luxury and be spoilt in such beautiful surroundings. I found this especially two years ago. Due to health issues my husband took me to Airlie Beach for two weeks to recuperate from an operation. Being members of Wyndham South Pacific I was able to relax in a beautiful, positive setting. The resort offered the opportunity to lap up the sunshine, take leisurely walks along the beach and access great facilities. The two bedroom unit allowed us to also invite a family member to enjoy the experience also. We had not seen them for two years. The staff were very considerate and offered insights on how to enjoy the region the best. The laid back environment of Airlie Beach was reflected in the resort, is enabled me to sleep in and have a stressless holiday and my road to recovery was made so much easier. “My journey began in Fiji on 1 December 2001.

I needed a halfway house between Canberra and Gympie Queensland.

So 6000 credits.

I will tell you now, that there is absolutely no way I would have had the following experiences without my Ownership.

No Way.

2004 – through the travel Club I exchanged 18,000 credits for 2 weeks in the Lakes District UK staying at Whitbarrow Lodge near Penrith. I added a 7 night cruise in the Aegean Sea plus a 7 night Ancient Greece Tour.

And never looked back.

2006 – I did the Bellissimo Tour (Italy and the Greek Island Hopper).

2009 – Land of the Inca plus Igwazu Falls.

2010 – Egypt with Pre tour ton Mt Sinai and Post Tour to Jordan.

2011 – East coast of Canada and New England in the Fall. Here I met my first Wyndham Travel companion, Fay Worrell.

2013 – The Canadian Rockies (British Columbia) and the inside Passage Alaska with pre tour Week in San Francisco at 590 Bush St (Wyndham US)

2014 – China and 3 Gorge Dam. Only tour to include the Panda Breeding Enclosure.

2015 February – the Antarctica Tour adding Amazon and Galapagos Islands at the end of tour.

2015 October – the Luxury Tour of South Africa. 3 Game parks plus the vineyards of Franschoeck, traveling along the southern coast of South Africa to Knassna, finishing back in Capetown. Boy what a tour that was. (10 ⭐ ✨).

2016 – Vietnam and Cambodia.

2016 December – European White Christmas. (My first) Again awesome trip.

2017 – Colours of Rajasthan India’s Golden Triangle

2017 – Scandinavia and it’s Fjords, included the Hurtegruten Coast run from Bergen to Kirkenes including Nordkapp the most northern point in Europe.

Added to this was an Osli, and Helsinki stop over plus 4 days in St Petersburg.

Then we added the Princess Cruise of the Baltic. Probably overkill, as it went to the Scandinavian ports again but it added places I wanted to see, eg Tallin, Estonia and northern Germany.

Altogether another awesome experience, and which complimented a previous Scandinavian tour I had done in 2010 honouring the Vikings.

2018 August – Kimberly Complete Club Tour.

On this occasion I added a pre-tour stop in Alice Springs for a 4 Day Uluru tour

And a post tour trip up to the Horizontal Falls with a few days in Broome pre and post tour. Plus a stop in Darwin for another 4 Day tour in Kakadu National Park. Then a further stop in Cairns and up to Port Douglas for a week.

2018 December – European White Christmas Again. I loved this tour. And would do it again.

I had 9 days to kill before the Northern lights tour, so I added Imperial Europe with Trafalgar. This took me to parts of eastern Europe I hadn’t seen such as Budapest.

I had a 3 day stop over in Munich which was a bit of a lost cause, as it snowed heaps.

2019 – January. Northern Lights tour covering Iceland. Here I met my next Wyndham travel companion. Catherina Bartley.

After Iceland we flew to Norway to spend time in the Snow Hotel. Amazing. We slept in the Snow Hotel, and a Gami Cabin.

Then we travelled to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort (the Santa Claus Resort).

There we slept in the Igloo and a lig cabin.

Another awesome experience.

We did dog sledding, reindeer sledding, we ride the sked mobiles , slept in a Sammi tepee. Some went trekking on snow shoes.

Just amazing.

2019 May. – the European Summer Tour from Amsterdam to Rome.

I added a pre-tour to the Slavard Group staying in Longyearbyen then boarding another Hurtegruten ship to travel the Spitsbergen islands.

Then I flew to Copenhagen ad stayed 3 days before joining the Tour.

2019 November – South Island New Zealand. The 4th time I had been around this island. But always beautiful.

I was booked on the Moscow to Budapest Tour due in June 2020 then rescheduled to 2021.

A no-go due to Covid.

After Covid I have done lots of Australian island through either OVC or the Travel club.

2022 – Kangaroo Island plus the Murray Princess.

Seven Mile Beach plus and APT tour.

Fraser Island

Hamilton Island out of Airlie Beach resort.

2023 – King Island

2024 August – the Jewels of Fiji 100 Club tour

2024 November – Rottnest Island.

Planned (if WWIII doesn’t break out)

2025 October – Japan 100 Club Tour.???

There is absolutely no way I would ever done even a few of these trips with out my Wyndham Ownership.

And just for good measure, until the recent additions, I had been to all our SP resorts in Australia except Trinity Links and Port Stevens.

Last year 2024, when selling up to move north, Wyndham Resorts, Hotels and the Fijian Club tour gave me sanctuary. I would have been homeless for 4 months without my Ownership.

“For my birthday this year, I decided to escape the city and treat myself to a snowy adventure. I packed my bags and headed to the breathtaking alpine village of Dinner Plain, Victoria—and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken.

I stayed at Club Wyndham Dinner Plain, a luxury, well-designed resort nestled right in the heart of the village. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed. The resort had everything I needed—friendly staff, high-end, comfortable rooms, and the perfect rustic charm you’d expect from a high-country escape. Best of all, it was only a short bus trip from Mt Hotham, making it a fantastic base for all the snow activities I had planned.

Evenings were spent enjoying good food, good wine, and the crackling of fireplaces around the area.

What made the trip truly special, though, was that I got to spend it doing what I love, on my birthday, in a place that felt both exciting and restorative. Club Wyndham Dinner Plain made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable—from accommodation to location, it was spot on.

“We became owners of Club Wyndham back in February 2010, not fully realising then how much it would shape the way our loved ones spend time together. What started as a practical way to plan holidays has become much bigger. It is now the foundation to so many of our special memories.

Our trips have taken many different forms. We have organised weekends away with friends at Port Douglas, Shoal Bay, Hunter Valley, Flunns Beach and many more, with days filled with laughter and nights filled with long chats over great meals and fine wine. We have had family holidays in many of the club properties over the year. Our children still reminisce about our first Club Wyndham holiday to Ballarat as a young family. On one special holiday, celebrating our 27th anniversary in Dunsborough, we found ourselves having an impromptu catch up with friend from Canberra, fellow owners.

Through our shared experiences, and now older and wanting to create similar memories with his wife and daughter, our son has now also become a Wyndham owner. Likewise, my sister and her husband, looking to replicate what we have withe their own family and friends, have become owner. We love that sharing these occasions and experiencing firsthand how we use our ownership, has had this effect on those close to us.

We have travelled to destination we previously thought unattainable by utilising our club ownership to its fullest potential. We have visited Disneyland in Los Angeles, road tripped through Wales, a train adventure through Europe, Skiing in Japan, Canada and New Zealand, and relaxing stays on the beaches in Fiji and Hawaii.

For us, the planning is almost as much fun as the holiday itself. Often starting with just a glimmer of an idea, a new resort we have not tried yet, or a favourite we are longing to revisit. That little spark, tiny little flicker, quickly grows into excitement as we work out who is coming who is coming with us, what we will do together, and wat special memories will be created.

In reflection, all the destinations have been beautiful. Having consistent high-quality resorts, along with welcoming staff, has made it feel like home away from home. This has always enabled us to relax and enjoy those we are there with. The shared meals, the late0night conversations, and the chance to stepway from everyday life, these are the thighs we treasure the most.”

“My wife and I just recently returned from our holiday at Club Wyndham Denarau. Not only did we have a fantastic time there but it was also a very special occasion for us.

Thirty eight years ago we were booked to go to Fiji for our honeymoon but because of military coup just prior to our wedding, we had to quickly change our plans. We always intended to go there at some stage but was only recently that we actually did.

Back on the ground, we explored Queenstown – though we were content to be spectators rather than participants when it came to the daring bungee jumpers.
More of our style was the historuc journey aboard the TSS Earnslaw, a 1912 Edwardian twin-screw steamship lovingly nicknamed “Lady of the Lake.”
Stepping aboard felt like stepping back in time, with gleaming brass fittings, polished timber interior, and the sight of stokers feeding coal into the engine’s fiery belly. The cruise across the glassy water of Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak high Country Farm was serene, with majestic mountain views. At the station, we enjoyed a heart lunch, a farm tour, sheep shearing demostrations, and the impressive skills of the working sheepdogs.
Evening were a joy, We’d either relax at hte resort’s Lounge and Bar, or venture into the village of Wanaka – a vibrant hub filled with the chic cafesm boutique restaurants, and friendly locals. And thanks to complimentary WIFI in our apartment, it was easy to stay connect with loved ones and share our stories and photos.

On stressful weeks, we are able to book in staycations, so instead of returning home after work, and school, we simple drive a little further and stay at a nearby resort. The kids love it, and I get to unwind. And as the resorts always have activities, games and movies, it truly adds to a great bonding with the kids. For over 20 years, we have been living a wealthy lifestyle. And you don’t need a lot of money to do so. You just need to decide that if this is the lifestyle you want, then you too can have it. Even when we have been between jobs with no income coming in, we could always guarantee that our holidays were there waiting for us to embark on. Plus with retirement not too far in the distant future, even on a pension, we will still be able to travel on a regular basis. “One of the great things about being a member of South Pacific Wyndham is that you always know that the standard of the accommodation and facilities is always high. This takes out the anxiety of whether the accommodation will be suitable. It is very good for the soul to be able to relax in luxury and be spoilt in such beautiful surroundings. We found this especially apparent two years ago when my husband took me to Airlie Beach for two weeks to recuperate from an operation. Being members of Wyndham South Pacific I was able to relax in a beautiful, positive setting of the resort. The opportunity to lap up the sunshine, take leisurely walks along the beach and access great facilities. Our two bedroom unit allowed us to also invite a family member, my mum, to share and enjoy this opportunity. The staff at the resort, like at all resorts we have stayed at, were very considerate and offered insights on how to enjoy the region. “My journey began in Fiji on 1 December 2001.

I needed a halfway house between Canberra and Gympie Queensland.

So 6000 credits.

I will tell you now, that there is absolutely no way I would have had the following experiences without my Ownership.

No Way.

2004 – through the travel Club I exchanged 18,000 credits for 2 weeks in the Lakes District UK staying at Whitbarrow Lodge near Penrith. I added a 7 night cruise in the Aegean Sea plus a 7 night Ancient Greece Tour.

And never looked back.

2006 – I did the Bellissimo Tour (Italy and the Greek Island Hopper).

2009 – Land of the Inca plus Igwazu Falls.

2010 – Egypt with Pre tour ton Mt Sinai and Post Tour to Jordan.

2011 – East coast of Canada and New England in the Fall. Here I met my first Wyndham Travel companion, Fay Worrell.

2013 – The Canadian Rockies (British Columbia) and the inside Passage Alaska with pre tour Week in San Francisco at 590 Bush St (Wyndham US)

2014 – China and 3 Gorge Dam. Only tour to include the Panda Breeding Enclosure.

2015 February – the Antarctica Tour adding Amazon and Galapagos Islands at the end of tour.

2015 October – the Luxury Tour of South Africa. 3 Game parks plus the vineyards of Franschoeck, traveling along the southern coast of South Africa to Knassna, finishing back in Capetown. Boy what a tour that was. (10 ⭐ ✨).

2016 – Vietnam and Cambodia.

2016 December – European White Christmas. (My first) Again awesome trip.

2017 – Colours of Rajasthan India’s Golden Triangle

2017 – Scandinavia and it’s Fjords, included the Hurtegruten Coast run from Bergen to Kirkenes including Nordkapp the most northern point in Europe.

Added to this was an Osli, and Helsinki stop over plus 4 days in St Petersburg.

Then we added the Princess Cruise of the Baltic. Probably overkill, as it went to the Scandinavian ports again but it added places I wanted to see, eg Tallin, Estonia and northern Germany.

Altogether another awesome experience, and which complimented a previous Scandinavian tour I had done in 2010 honouring the Vikings.

2018 August – Kimberly Complete Club Tour.

On this occasion I added a pre-tour stop in Alice Springs for a 4 Day Uluru tour

And a post tour trip up to the Horizontal Falls with a few days in Broome pre and post tour. Plus a stop in Darwin for another 4 Day tour in Kakadu National Park. Then a further stop in Cairns and up to Port Douglas for a week.

2018 December – European White Christmas Again. I loved this tour. And would do it again.

I had 9 days to kill before the Northern lights tour, so I added Imperial Europe with Trafalgar. This took me to parts of eastern Europe I hadn’t seen such as Budapest.

I had a 3 day stop over in Munich which was a bit of a lost cause, as it snowed heaps.

2019 – January. Northern Lights tour covering Iceland. Here I met my next Wyndham travel companion. Catherina Bartley.

After Iceland we flew to Norway to spend time in the Snow Hotel. Amazing. We slept in the Snow Hotel, and a Gami Cabin.

Then we travelled to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort (the Santa Claus Resort).

There we slept in the Igloo and a lig cabin.

Another awesome experience.

We did dog sledding, reindeer sledding, we ride the sked mobiles , slept in a Sammi tepee. Some went trekking on snow shoes.

Just amazing.

2019 May. – the European Summer Tour from Amsterdam to Rome.

I added a pre-tour to the Slavard Group staying in Longyearbyen then boarding another Hurtegruten ship to travel the Spitsbergen islands.

Then I flew to Copenhagen ad stayed 3 days before joining the Tour.

2019 November – South Island New Zealand. The 4th time I had been around this island. But always beautiful.

I was booked on the Moscow to Budapest Tour due in June 2020 then rescheduled to 2021.

A no-go due to Covid.

After Covid I have done lots of Australian island through either OVC or the Travel club.

2022 – Kangaroo Island plus the Murray Princess.

Seven Mile Beach plus and APT tour.

Fraser Island

Hamilton Island out of Airlie Beach resort.

2023 – King Island

2024 August – the Jewels of Fiji 100 Club tour

2024 November – Rottnest Island.

Planned (if WWIII doesn’t break out)

2025 October – Japan 100 Club Tour.???

And 2026 Spain and Portugal 100 Club Tour ???

There is absolutely no way I would ever done even a few of these trips with out my Wyndham Ownership.

And just for good measure, until the recent additions, I had been to all our SP resorts in Australia except Trinity Links and Port Stevens.

Last year 2024, when selling up to move north, Wyndham Resorts, Hotels and the Fijian Club tour gave me sanctuary. I would have been homeless for 4 months without my Ownership.

The staff are very charming, welcoming and helpful, especially with regards to catering breakfast, dinner and requesting taxis. Food is good and well-served. The room is spacious and cosy. Always providing clean towels & toiletries everyday. The resort amenities are clean and nice to stay. They even recommend tourist attractions to go to. Getting late in coming back to the resort is not an issue.”

“I have used Club Wyndham credits for holidays in the USA & Canada on 6 occasions. These trips covered Vancouver, Whistler, Banff (Canmore) & the Rockies, which have the most amazing scenery and mountain vistas. On one occasion I took a 7night Alaskan Cruise (as part of my Wyndham ownership).

In the US, I was able to tick off bucket-list places such as Yellowstone NP, New York City (and everything that great City has to offer), San Francisco, Yosemite NP, LA, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe (& old Virginia City), Bison Ranch, Red River, Grand Canyon, Arches NP, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP and Canyonlands.

These were done as driving trips, as driving in the US is so easy with a great road system and plenty of signage. The Sat-Nav also helped !

The National Park system in the US (and Canada) is so well established and accessible.

It was so easy to book Resorts in the areas so that I was able to take in all the attractions and link up with the next Resort area to continue.”

There are things that was left out for our booking but due to the help and support by Nina, my family members had a pleasant stay in Phuket (my parents-in-law, my sister-in-law and her husband as well as my husband and toddler). Phuket has alot to offer from shows, to carnival games to animals and good night market, Sunday walking tour and good food, beaches etc. We are glad to visit. Sub-urban in Japan is always giving us the good time for peaceful experience, nice air, nice people, and relaxation moment. The resort was giving everything we really need, spacious room with all necessary amenities, hot public Onsen, on-site meal. The location was also good especially if you drive your own vehicle you can visit town and get around famous place like Mt. Omuro and blossum park easily. “The other day, I took my family and our dog to Club Wyndham Sundance Resort Onjuku.
The ocean was right in front of us.
We were blessed with good weather, and the view from our room was amazing. Our dog was happily running around on the beach.
We went for a walk to the Moon Desert, and the kids took off their shoes and enjoyed the sandy beach. In the evening, we rented a DVD, watched a movie, and also rented Jenga to enjoy a relaxing time together in our room.
The only downside was that we realized too late that yukata robes were available for free rental. Next time, I’d like to wear a yukata and take a stroll along the beach in the evening.

The origami on the table in the room provided a soothing respite for my tired body after driving.

This is a pet-friendly and driver-friendly inn.
Both the pet’s sandy paws and the children’s feet were easily cleaned off with the outdoor shower.”

“For my birthday this year, I decided to escape the city and treat myself to a snowy adventure. I packed my bags and headed to the breathtaking alpine village of Dinner Plain, Victoria—and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken.

I stayed at Club Wyndham Dinner Plain, a luxury, well-designed resort nestled right in the heart of the village. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed. The resort had everything I needed—friendly staff, high-end, comfortable rooms, and the perfect rustic charm you’d expect from a high-country escape. Best of all, it was only a short bus trip from Mt Hotham, making it a fantastic base for all the snow activities I had planned.

And what a snow season it’s been! We were lucky to catch a fresh dump of powder just before arriving. The slopes were in amazing condition, and I wasted no time getting out there. Skiing each day was exhilarating—carving down groomed runs, breathing in crisp alpine air, and soaking in the stunning mountain views. Whether I was skiing solo or joining others on the lifts, I felt totally alive.

Back at the resort, it was all about hot spa, warm meals, and relaxing in comfort. The village atmosphere made everything feel personal and peaceful, a perfect contrast to the adrenaline of the slopes. Evenings were spent enjoying good food, good wine, and the crackling of fireplaces around the area.

What made the trip truly special, though, was that I got to spend it doing what I love, on my birthday, in a place that felt both exciting and restorative. Club Wyndham Dinner Plain made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable—from accommodation to location, it was spot on.

“On a recent visit to Club Wyndham Fiji with friends, we decided to go on a cruise to the islands which included bus pick up & return. Unfortunately, my wife had a fall entering the bus and suffered a fractured ankle together with a sore knee. We were unable to go on the cruise & went immediately to the Zens Medical Centre that is nearby. Ultimately, we were sent to the Zens Medical in Nadi where a CT Scan and finally a moonboot was puchased. We were pleasantly surprised that the Fijian medical system performed well and we were able to return to our Club Wyndham Resort to continue our holiday. Whilst we were hampered from doing any outdoor activities we were still able to enjoy the restaurants of the resort by way of the Club Wyndham wheelchair. This was supplied to with an ever smiling Fijian employee who made the journey each night as much fun as possible. So for 7 nights in a row we were able to take advantage of this service which certainly assisted us in our time of need. So thank you to staff of Wyndham Denarau for your excellent happy service in assisting Owners through an awkward time. Much appreciated!”

“Wyndham resorts offers stress-free holiday accommodation. In all the places we have stayed, it has been comfortable and well maintained with friendly, helpful staff. Our recent stay at Flynn’s beach NSW (July 2025) is a case in point, We took our 12 year-old Grand-daughter (being winter school holidays). She participated in activities with other children without us having to organize these. The children’s program was was supervised and catered for primary school children. The children’s program offered a variety of structured activities on different days. The heated pool and spa provided opportunities for lots of water based fun (under adult supervision). Wednesday happy hour at Henry’s restaurant was enjoyable for us adults as we could meet other resort visitors in comfort while watching pool activities as large windows conveniently overlooked the pool.
Flynn’s beach provides a convenient year-round central location close to the local attractions. These include the koala park and board walk;rugged, scenic coastal walks;sheltered beaches and seasonal whale watching from near the local lighthouse. Port Macquarie’s historical self-guided tour (with audio), museum, port and town centre provided insights into the past re the development of regional pastoral, timber and fishing industries from harsh convict beginnings. Nearby towns and villages like Wauchope provide venues for family oriented daytrips and stops for meals and activities.
One distinct feature was the willingness for FB resort staff to facilitate respite care for family members/ carers with dependents with special needs. Convenient wheel chair accessibility of resort facilities makes this a welcome low-stress option.

“Patty and I have been members since 2004. We have had many wonderful family holidays with our children. Now we are able to book accommodation for our children and their families at various places in Australia and overseas. We first had a family holiday at Denarau in 2005 with our children. A prime example was when I was walking walking with my two year old granddaughter. A staff member was walking past. He stopped, picked a flower and put it in her hair, smiled and walked on. Our most travelled stay is in our home state WA at the Dunsborough location. Three hours away from our home it is a home away from home for us. “This year, Jim and I had two lovely weeks in Tasmania. As we enjoy the cooler weather ( plus, as an added bonus, credits required in the low season is economical which makes the go further!) We enjoy the autumn/winter months for the colourful trees and possible snow! Coming from Queensland the change of seasons are stunning. Seven Mile Beach is a really nice Resort (Jim’s favourite) and I enjoy walking around the resort and forest walk getting photos of the black cockatoos, blue fairy wren, wallabies, alpacas, goats, cows sheep and other farm animals. There is damper and marshmallow afternoon around the open fire that is enjoyed by the children and adults alike.

There are so many places to visit. old towns – Richmond, Oatland, Ross – rugged coastline – National Parks – plus plenty of vineyards, cheese factories and chocolate shops galore. Something for all tastes and ages.

It is an enjoyable day trip taking the ferry to Bruny Island, another day to Port Arthur Penal Settlement or down to Hobart Harbour for a tasty fish and chips, or Salamanca Market on a Saturday to try a curried scallop pie.”

“My wife and I just recently returned from our holiday at Club Wyndham Denarau. Not only did we have a fantastic time there but it was also a very special occasion for us.

Thirty eight years ago we were booked to go to Fiji for our honeymoon but because of military coup just prior to our wedding, we had to quickly change our plans. We always intended to go there at some stage but was only recently that we actually did.

Becoming a Club Wyndham South Pacific owner has enriched our lives in countless ways, offering not just holidays but onforgettable experiences. One of the most treasured of these was our adventure through New Zealand’s spectacular South Island – a journey of natural wonders, warm hospitalty, and lasting memories.
Our first Club trip to New Zealand was energestic to say the least – packed it itinerary full, trying to see everything It was on a later trip, with a wiser pace, that we truly fell in love with South Island. This time, we chose a stay at Club Wyndham Wanaka, nestled in one of the most scenic pockets of the county, surrounded by majestic peaks and the calm beauty of Lake Wanaka.
At our stage in life, comfort counts – and the resort delivered. Each dayt of exploring was followed by rejuvenation in the heated pool or a soothing soak in the hot tub, with spacious and stylish apartment to retreat to. The friendly resort staff made every day easierm assisting us with hiring a car and even bookin a unforgettable scenic flight.
Two excursion stood out. First, a rewarding road trip to the twin wonders of Fox and Franz Josef Glacier, their icy brilliance unforgettable under clear pline skies. Back on the ground, we explored Queenstown – though we were content to be spectators rather than participants when it came to the daring bungee jumpers.

Stepping aboard felt like stepping back in time, with gleaming brass fittings, polished timber interior, and the sight of stokers feeding coal into the engine’s fiery belly. The cruise across the glassy water of Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak high Country Farm was serene, with majestic mountain views. At the station, we enjoyed a heart lunch, a farm tour, sheep shearing demostrations, and the impressive skills of the working sheepdogs.
Evening were a joy, We’d either relax at hte resort’s Lounge and Bar, or venture into the village of Wanaka – a vibrant hub filled with the chic cafesm boutique restaurants, and friendly locals. And thanks to complimentary WIFI in our apartment, it was easy to stay connect with loved ones and share our stories and photos.
This South Island escape reminded us how travel is about more than just seeing new places – it’s about living them. And with Club Wyndham, every details is thoughtfully taken care of. A South Island Escape to Remember with Club Wyndham
Becoming a Club Wyndham South Pacific owner has enriched our lives in countless ways, offering not just holidays but onforgettable experiences. One of the most treasured of these was our adventure through New Zealand’s spectacular South Island – a journey of natural wonders, warm hospitalty, and lasting memories.
Our first Club trip to New Zealand was energestic to say the least – packed it itinerary full, trying to see everything It was on a later trip, with a wiser pace, that we truly fell in love with South Island. This time, we chose a stay at Club Wyndham Wanaka, nestled in one of the most scenic pockets of the county, surrounded by majestic peaks and the calm beauty of Lake Wanaka.
At our stage in life, comfort counts – and the resort delivered. Each dayt of exploring was followed by rejuvenation in the heated pool or a soothing soak in the hot tub, with spacious and stylish apartment to retreat to. The friendly resort staff made every day easierm assisting us with hiring a car and even bookin a unforgettable scenic flight.
Two excursion stood out. First, a rewarding road trip to the twin wonders of Fox and Franz Josef Glacier, their icy brilliance unforgettable under clear pline skies. Since then, we have been to Kirra Beach, Melbourne, Cairns a couple of times, Port Douglas Seven Mile Beach, Sydney and most recently ie last week, Fiji. “My journey began in Fiji on 1 December 2001.

I needed a halfway house between Canberra and Gympie Queensland.

So 6000 credits.

I will tell you now, that there is absolutely no way I would have had the following experiences without my Ownership.

No Way.

2004 – through the travel Club I exchanged 18,000 credits for 2 weeks in the Lakes District UK staying at Whitbarrow Lodge near Penrith. I added a 7 night cruise in the Aegean Sea plus a 7 night Ancient Greece Tour.

And never looked back.

2006 – I did the Bellissimo Tour (Italy and the Greek Island Hopper).

2009 – Land of the Inca plus Igwazu Falls.

2010 – Egypt with Pre tour ton Mt Sinai and Post Tour to Jordan.

2011 – East coast of Canada and New England in the Fall. Here I met my first Wyndham Travel companion, Fay Worrell.

2013 – The Canadian Rockies (British Columbia) and the inside Passage Alaska with pre tour Week in San Francisco at 590 Bush St (Wyndham US)

2014 – China and 3 Gorge Dam. Only tour to include the Panda Breeding Enclosure.

2015 February – the Antarctica Tour adding Amazon and Galapagos Islands at the end of tour.

2015 October – the Luxury Tour of South Africa. 3 Game parks plus the vineyards of Franschoeck, traveling along the southern coast of South Africa to Knassna, finishing back in Capetown. Boy what a tour that was. (10 ⭐ ✨).

2016 – Vietnam and Cambodia.

2016 December – European White Christmas. (My first) Again awesome trip.

2017 – Colours of Rajasthan India’s Golden Triangle

2017 – Scandinavia and it’s Fjords, included the Hurtegruten Coast run from Bergen to Kirkenes including Nordkapp the most northern point in Europe.

Added to this was an Osli, and Helsinki stop over plus 4 days in St Petersburg.

Then we added the Princess Cruise of the Baltic. Probably overkill, as it went to the Scandinavian ports again but it added places I wanted to see, eg Tallin, Estonia and northern Germany.

Altogether another awesome experience, and which complimented a previous Scandinavian tour I had done in 2010 honouring the Vikings.

2018 August – Kimberly Complete Club Tour.

On this occasion I added a pre-tour stop in Alice Springs for a 4 Day Uluru tour

And a post tour trip up to the Horizontal Falls with a few days in Broome pre and post tour. Plus a stop in Darwin for another 4 Day tour in Kakadu National Park. Then a further stop in Cairns and up to Port Douglas for a week.

2018 December – European White Christmas Again. I loved this tour. And would do it again.

I had 9 days to kill before the Northern lights tour, so I added Imperial Europe with Trafalgar. This took me to parts of eastern Europe I hadn’t seen such as Budapest.

I had a 3 day stop over in Munich which was a bit of a lost cause, as it snowed heaps.

2019 – January. Northern Lights tour covering Iceland. Here I met my next Wyndham travel companion. Catherina Bartley.

After Iceland we flew to Norway to spend time in the Snow Hotel. Amazing. We slept in the Snow Hotel, and a Gami Cabin.

Then we travelled to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort (the Santa Claus Resort).

There we slept in the Igloo and a lig cabin.

Another awesome experience.

We did dog sledding, reindeer sledding, we ride the sked mobiles , slept in a Sammi tepee. Some went trekking on snow shoes.

Just amazing.

2019 May. – the European Summer Tour from Amsterdam to Rome.

I added a pre-tour to the Slavard Group staying in Longyearbyen then boarding another Hurtegruten ship to travel the Spitsbergen islands.

Then I flew to Copenhagen ad stayed 3 days before joining the Tour.

2019 November – South Island New Zealand. The 4th time I had been around this island. But always beautiful.

I was booked on the Moscow to Budapest Tour due in June 2020 then rescheduled to 2021.

A no-go due to Covid.

After Covid I have done lots of Australian island through either OVC or the Travel club.

2022 – Kangaroo Island plus the Murray Princess.

Seven Mile Beach plus and APT tour.

Fraser Island

Hamilton Island out of Airlie Beach resort.

2023 – King Island

2024 August – the Jewels of Fiji 100 Club tour

2024 November – Rottnest Island.

Planned (if WWIII doesn’t break out)

2025 October – Japan 100 Club Tour.???

And 2026 Spain and Portugal 100 Club Tour ???

Again…

There is absolutely no way I would ever done even a few of these trips with out my Wyndham Ownership.

And just for good measure, until the recent additions, I had been to all our SP resorts in Australia except Trinity Links and Port Stevens.

Last year 2024, when selling up to move north, Wyndham Resorts, Hotels and the Fijian Club tour gave me sanctuary. I would have been homeless for 4 months without my Ownership.

Holidays were a weekend away with the family once a year. Now we have enjoyed Disneyland USA, concerts in Australia, Wanaka and Rotorua and just recently a family holiday with Wyndham Denerau in Fiji where we could take our family and grandchildren. We had two girls starting high school and things were tough. The good thing about being a club member is that you get alot of help from key arrangement to late extension (subject to availability) to room requests almost immediate. There are things that was left out for our booking but due to the help and support by Nina, my family members had a pleasant stay in Phuket (my parents-in-law, my sister-in-law and her husband as well as my husband and toddler). Phuket has alot to offer from shows, to carnival games to animals and good night market, Sunday walking tour and good food, beaches etc. We are glad to visit. “Fulfilling my childhood dreams. Wyndham has allowed me through travel in my later life, remember what it was like to live my childhood in Finland. From playing in the snow, building snow animal statues, throwing snowballs, to playing in fallen autumn sunburnt yellow leaves . These things don’t happen when you live in Qld. Next month we celebrate our 23 Years with Club Wyndham, having travelled to France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Singapore, New Zealand and of course our favourite Fiji, but also all around Australia. Having over 100k credits gives us the freedom to plan longer, more varied holiday, and knowing the 100 Club team is there to support us makes the experience even smoother. As we approach retirement, we’re not just dreaming of “someday” travel – we’re living it now and know there is much more to look forward to.

“My husband and I rarely went away due to the commitment of having 6 children between us and working full time. My husband is a Nurse Manager which means he is accountable for the hospital, staff and patients after hours. I am a critical care nurse and have recently become a mental health nurse. We have been nursing for 20 years. I have been studying in order to achieve my new role. We both dedicate our lives to helping people which is very demanding and involves shift work. So often we do not see each other and are usually very fatigued from long hours with night duties and stressful demand. We purchase a caravan and realised this will incur maintenance costs, insurance and registration, plus a vehicle capable of towing it. We also realise we couldn’t share our travel with our family.

Then in 2028, Brad was diagnosed with leukaemia. He became the patient and our lives changed dramatically. Our priorities had to change. Brad required treatment and he is now stable. He was medically discharged from the Army Reserves which was a great loss to him. As we age, we now realise time with family is what matters. Time with our children who all have partners and our parents. Life is too short.

It made perfect sense to sell our caravan and invest in Windham holidays. We now plan holidays with our children and family. This would not haven possible without Wyndham. We can see parts of the world and share it with those not so fortunate to be able to afford holidays.

This trip we have explored Ballarat, Melbourne, Dinner Plains and Phillip Island. My brother came and he could never afford such a trip to the snow! We don’t want regrets. We want memories to treasure with our family forever because you never know what tomorrow brings. Thank you Wyndham!
