Resort Update – 23 February

February 23, 2021 | Latest Announcements

Bookings Now Open for Fijian Owners for stays at Club Wyndham Denarau Island in March and over the Easter Long Weekend!

The team at Club Wyndham Denarau are excited to announce they are re-opening the resort to Fijian owners (and to guests of owners who may live in Fiji) for weekend reservations during March 2021, and over Easter from Thursday April 1 to Easter Monday April 5, 2021.

A few hundred local owners live in Fiji, and the team at the resort is very happy to be able to welcome back Club Wyndham South Pacific owners once more.

For weekend bookings in March

The resort will re-open for weekends during March 2021:

  • March 5, 6 and 7
  • March 12, 13 and 14
  • March 19, 20 and 21
  • March 26, 27 and 28

Check-ins will be accepted on Friday, Saturday or Sunday night, with check-outs possible on Monday at 12pm (noon).  The two-night weekend rule does apply.

For Easter bookings

Check-ins will be accepted from Thursday April 1, 2021 for stays through to Easter Monday April 5, 2021

All apartment types are available, with most facilities operating, including the lagoon-style swimming pool, adults’ only pool, kids’ club, Senakai Spa and dining and beverage outlets, Mamacita’s and The Beach Shack.

Please note: room service will not be available at this time. Rosie’s Tour Desk will be closed and the Bula Bus is currently not operating.

The resort has undergone some wonderful improvements while it has been closed and there will be plenty of activities on offer. Some of the Easter activities include an Easter egg hunt and owner drinks, while general activities range from Fire Dancers at the Beach Shack, Happy Hour and Dive in Movie night on Sundays! There are many activities for the children too, including the new pirate ship playground, Raluve kids’ theatre and Kids’ Club.

The resort has received accreditation under the Fiji Government traveller safety program, Care Fiji Commitment. This accreditation is endorsed by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

Please note: In line with Fiji government protocol, anyone arriving will have to download the Care Fiji App and have their temperature taken.

INTERNATIONAL RESERVATIONS
Owners outside of Fiji who have bookings at Club Wyndham Denarau Island up to 11 April, 2021 will be invited to cancel, as Fiji has not yet opened its borders to international travellers.

If this applies to you, please confirm the cancellation using the message that the Owner Services team will send you and the team will return your credits to your account or, if they have expired, issue a voucher within 14 days for future use.

Please note that it is each owner’s responsibility to ensure a booking is cancelled. We will not process a cancellation without the owner’s confirmation unless a resort is actually closed, as many owners have gifted reservations to family and friends.

It is unlikely that international travel to Fiji will resume before the April 11, 2021, but we will assess the situation on a month-by-month basis.

For the latest on the border and gathering restrictions in Australia or New Zealand, please review the Australian Government’s COVID-19 Restriction Checker or New Zealand’s Unite Against COVID-19 page.
