While the Greater Brisbane region is now out of its brief lockdown, a number of states and territories have continued with restrictions on the region.

GREATER BRISBANE
Owners from Greater Brisbane will be given the opportunity to cancel their reservations beginning between now and January 31.

If this applies to you, please confirm the cancellation using the message that the Owner Services team will send you. The team will systematically work through these reservations, return your credits to your account or, if they have expired, issue a voucher within 14 days for future use. There is no need to call.

WA BORDER RESTRICTIONS
Western Australia is the only state to declare the whole of Queensland a COVID-19 hotspot, which means that residents of Queensland travelling to Western Australia will have to undergo quarantine, as would Western Australian residents returning from Queensland.

Owner Services will send an invitation to Western Australian owners with a reservation in Queensland and to Queensland owners with a reservation in Western Australia between now and January 31.

If this applies to you, please confirm the cancellation using the message that the Owner Services team will send you and the team will return your credits to your account or, if they have expired, issue a voucher within 14 days for future use.

Please note that it is each owner’s responsibility to ensure a booking is cancelled. We will not process a cancellation without the owner’s confirmation unless a resort is actually closed, as many owners have gifted reservations to family and friends.

If you do not receive a text message, your reservation remains confirmed.

Our specialist COVID-19 team continues to monitor government restrictions and travel advice and updates the COVID-19 cancellation policy at times where there is clarity around restrictions, and will continue to do so.

Whenever there is a change to restrictions, there are many cancellations and re-bookings that take place, so please expect longer call queues and email turnaround times.
