Club Wyndham Wanaka

**Alert: As a precautionary measure, as part of our COVID-19 risk reduction plan, we will allocate the gym / hot tub for one (1) hour to each room and guests will make a booking at reception. Surfaces will be disinfected four (4) times daily and bike hire will also be disinfected after each use.

**INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL: When travelling internationally you will require a valid passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity based on your return date to Australia or New Zealand. Wyndham do not issue visas or documentation for re-entry into Australia. It is your responsibility to check that you have current and correct documentation for departing Australia, entry into any countries visited, ports of call or re-entry into Australia. General visa advice can be obtained from www.visalink.com.au. Please ensure you visit this website regarding required visas.**

** In line with our commitment to environmental responsibility we would like to confirm that there will be an operational change to our resort pool facilities during winter. From mid-May to 25 September each year the main pool will not be operational however the following facilities will remain open during the winter months (sauna, BBQ and hot tub) in the pool area.**

**Wanaka is approximately 5-1/2 – 6 hours’ drive from Christchurch.**

  • Reception operates 7am to 11pm, seven days a week.
  • NZ$100 deposit or credit card imprint is required upon arrival.
  • The café/bar hours are 7.30am until 10:30am then 4.30pm through to 9pm. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning and light snacks only are served in the licensed bar area in the evenings. To see the menu please click here.
  • Approximately one hour drive from Queenstown international airport.
  • Studio apartments are of a compact size and contain tea/coffee making facilities only.
  • Please note 2 Bedroom apartments have only 1 bathroom.
  • Please note Presidential and Deluxe Apartments do not have a sofa bed.
  • One Bedroom Deluxe’s do not have Baths.
  • Limited amount of rollaway beds available upon request – $35NZD per night payable to the resort direct – Must not exceed maximum occupancy
  • There is a communal laundry available for Owners and their guests. This is free of charge and laundry tokens can be collected from Reception. Laundry powder is free of charge and can be collected from Reception. Deluxe and Presidential apartments have their owner wash/dryer.
  • Air Conditioning: All Studio and Standard apartments have ceilings fans. In addition to ceiling fans, all Presidential and Deluxe apartments also have air conditioning available.
  • Please note that there is no elevator at the Wanaka Resort. Please request a Ground floor apartment at the time of booking if required. Unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed.
  • The ski season falls roughly between 27 June and 4 October. Tyre chains are recommended to access ski fields and can be hired from any ski shop or car hire company.
  • Wireless Internet & Movies are available and payable to the resort. This service does incur additional fees and charges of $5-$7 approx. Use of Wireless Internet is limited to five devices at any one time per Wireless Connection. Wireless Internet service is free for Lifestyle Silver and above owners*. Use of In-Room movies is limited for Lifestyle Silver and above owners based on tier level benefits. *Club Wyndham Managed Properties only.
  • This resort holds Owner Events throughout the year, speak with your resort reception staff for times when checking in.

Guest Bookings: Please keep in mind that as the Owner you are responsible for your Guest’s complying with Club guidelines and regulations, your Guest’s behavior whilst staying at the resort, and any outstanding charges resulting from Guest’s usage at the resort.

Credit Card fees: From 1 September 2016 payments made by credit card for any charges incurred during your stay at a Club Wyndham resort will incur a Credit Card Service Fee of 0.9% in addition to the total amount payable.

Pets: Dogs under the size of 12kg are allowed at Club Wyndham Wanaka. For more information please see the link here. Other pets are not allowed at any Club Wyndham, Ramada by Wyndham or Associate property except in the case of hearing, mobility or vision-impaired guests. Please advise at time of booking if this applies.

Wi-Fi is available at most resorts however it may incur additional charges. We recommend contacting the individual resort reception to find out more.

Skiing Information: Please note that in order to go Skiing at one of the ski-lift resorts such as Cardrona, Alpine Resort or Treble Cone a Pre-purchased Ski pass may be required. Does your reservation include an apartment move during your stay? The following guidelines apply:

  • Guest is responsible for packing own belongings.
  • Check out time for the first apartment is 12:00pm (noon).
  • Guest may be unable to check into next apartment until 4:00pm. Luggage can be left at Reception.
  • Reception staff are unable to modify bookings to avoid apartment moves. If you have any enquiries, please contact your Owner Services Team on 1300 850 160 (AU), 0800 850 160 (NZ), or 008 003 263 (FJ)

To make the most of the surrounding area, a car is recommended. Discounted car rental rates are available through Travel by Wyndham. Please call 1300 850 160.

Limited cots and highchairs are available at the resorts for use during your stay. Please ensure these are requested at the time of booking and we recommend contacting the resort 24-48 hours prior to  your check in to confirm your request.

Credit card payments relating to Fun Time, Bonus Time and One Time Credits bookings will incur a Credit Card Service Fee of 1.5%, in addition to the amount payable.
